Sonic Unleashed ALMOST got it right but Sonic Team jut had to add the stupid Werehog missions. Without it the game could have gotten easy 8-9's/10 and given Sonic fans worldwide hope that Sonic could once again return to his former glory.
A Cry Engine powered MMO is one thing, the fact that this relatively unknown MMO can make $400 million a year is insane! I don't even think Acclaim makes that much money from their MMO's.
I loved the Sonic Adventure series on the Dreamcast, not sure how I feel about all these Dreamcast re-releases though.
Blu Ray, HD DVD, etc were hacked just as fast as DVD was when it came out, your point?
While I don' agree with the fact that God of War III will be bad since it looks awesome, it's a bit foolish to say it was the first game of its type hence no other games that are inspired by it would exist.
Hack and Slash/Action RPG games existed before God of War, Golden Axe comes to mind.
Big claims, the last I can recall is in Wheelman where the music would change depending on how well you were doing in the game.
Kilaj: Ford for example has used car dealerships that not only sell used Ford cars but other companies as well. So if you want to sell your Mazda car back to Mazda they can make a second profit on it.
EDGE is like the Armond White of gaming because of how inconsistent they always are, but at least Armond is worse!
First people say Microsoft isn't doing enough to differentiate Gold and Silver, then when the do people say Microsoft is showing greed by doing so, make up your mind gamers!
The digital only and second joystiq thing can really hurt in my opinion, yes the original PSP did do pretty well but this is a huge redesign and something like a second nub could have been a nice addition.
Trine is coming out on the PSN before the end of the year, there have also been rumblings of a eventual XBLA version as well.
Likewise, I heard the only issue about Trine for the PC was the price point, a sale on the game makes it a bit more reasonable.
Trine and the Majesty 2 pre-order bonus seem really enticing, think I might get one or both this weekend.
I'm a bit underwhelmed, surely a juggernaut like Madden could have topped this earlier?
Peter Moore was the man, shame Sega of Japan made him look like "the bad guy" before he left for Microsoft.
The demo should be enough to sell just about anyone. Batman: AA really seems like 2009's Bioshock in that it came out of no where and turned out to be a great game.
Using the flood was a "case of laziness"? I can sort of see what they mean by this but to their credit, they did advance he flood storyline after Halo: CE, even introducing new flood characters in Halo 3 and perhaps Halo 2 IIRC.
Australia is one of the many places that could use some more games industry representation. From what I hear, they seem to be doing ok on the developer side of things but consumers also need someone.
Can they use just a small chunk for Shadowrun DLC? Wishful thinking I know :( It sucks since the online community is super dedicated but are being ignored.
If you own a both consoles, why not choose the version that gives you extra? The fact that the devs crushed any hope for Xbox 360 exclusive characters or even a DLC pack that had what the PS3 version gets probably didn't help much either.
Regardless, this game is great, what ever platform you own it on, you win!
The Dreamcast version is the best, the DX release had a few tech issues and just didn't feel the same as it did on the Dreamcast. The VMU connectivity was awesome!
