I’m glad they’re not. They can always adapt parts of it however, much like the games did to parts from the books.

If you played w3... Yennifer looked a whole lot younger than Geralt then too. If the show takes off and lasts then their ages might catch up to it.

I like it more than any other battle royale, but don’t play it that regularly either. So as long as it has its fans though, I say go for it.

Even if it only lasts a few more years then it would still be hugely successful and keep millions entertained. Same for fortnite.

As much as I agree... they started to give up near the end of last generation as well and it didn’t seem to help them any then either.

They definitely didn’t start picking up new studios 2 years before then however. Game Pass wasn’t a thing until mid generation either (day 1 libraries for new adopters now basically). Etc. So they “should” be in a much better position than this generation as long as they don’t have a disastrous reveal again.

But Sony wi...

I still enjoy my games on Xbox... but due to release spacing and power difference I played on sony more this generation until the X.

Next gen I’ll probably stick with Xbox more (at least for some—not only) since at launch especially power differences should be minimal either way again. Likely much less than this generation no matter who’s stronger.

Because I like xbox, it’s controller, Game Pass, play anywhere (whenever I need a new gpu I can just play X...

New Wolfenstein wasn’t old wolfenstein either—but it was a better transition for it in the modern gaming ecosystem.

YB is more of a stand-alone that plays even more like far too many new-modern shooters that rely on collectibles, light rpg elements, customization, etc over narrative. It’s sort of the 2009 hub based Wolfenstein mixed with those elements in a Wolfenstein world.

But I already knew liking it would garner dislikes although I could probably be...

How cheap do you need it? It released at $30 day 1.

It may not be as narrative driven as the other Wolfenstein games, but it still feels like Wolfenstein to me. Enough to enjoy it anyways as it isn’t quite the same either.

But after playing FC New Dawn, I’d take this over that divergent side project any day. New dawn to me was “okay?”, while this is at least low end of “good” to me to the point I enjoy it and don’t feel like I’m forcing myself to play ...

It’s a good game, people are just pissed as it’s not like the other Wolfensteins from this generation. Not great, just 7-7.5, and most complaints wouldn’t be that big of deal if it was some different franchise with just two sisters fighting Nazis.

MTs are cosmetic and not thrown in your face at all—earnable in Game too (but no need to do it anyways). Emotes? Not annoying nor spammable—just a little buff basically. Enemies spawning? Happens in the others too if you don’...

Hope so—dev (old and new, if rumor is true) are in the UK.

If it’s for next gen alone though then I doubt it. Halo infinite is the only confirmed next gen game we’ve seen and that’s because it’s cross gen. Maybe Rare has something else cooking too though, since Battletoads is being co developed and SoT is old hat by now. Think those are only 2 European studios (well compulsion is French? Not sure if some new studio locations yet). NT will probably not show anything ne...

Hoping the campaign goes back to the original’s darker tone than 4’s. Kate going mad and everything else is perfect for it imo.

So more Gears 1 preferably or at least more 2/3 hopefully—definitely not judgement (which i replayed last year... not terrible but the weakest by far). I like the Swarm more than the Lambent however. Back to the basics in other words, although i bet we will get more crazy machine/mutant things which might be the “new Lambent” anyways.

I want State of Decay and Day’s Gone to merge into one game. I think both would help with each other’s Weaknesses somewhat. The narrative can’t be exactly the same due to character loss in SoD (and I want it to stay), but some of the story elements would still work great in a combined world. Maybe start off more “sod” but after a certain point you are introduced to npc camps (one per map—possible carry overs or one huge map next time) to add variety as well.

But run bett...

For millions, it’s probably a great deal. It depends on what titles are out though and if you sub for a month or more of course.

Cost of console (or both?) as well as launch titles though? That will add up fast. Subs can help more budget conscious day one gamers (or even not day one).

Uplay+, EA Access, Game Pass, and/or whatever else comes out will be extremely lucrative for day one buyers though. You can pay the cost of a single game and get instant...

I want to see what Warhorse (KCD dev) is up to.

Not a perfect game, but a very ambitious first title that gave the dev a 4A (Metro) type of “watch list” level for me. I don’t think either are the best devs ever, but are just two companies that practically came out of nowhere for me and are all about immersing yourself into the worlds they create.

Probably pushed back a bit with announcement that it’s coming to switch too. I’m expecting it this Fall/Holiday.

Lost Planet reboot. I don’t care if some don’t like it, the concept is still solid.

Might have just wanted a change. A lot of game devs seem to move around after a couple projects, especially if their back to back games are somewhat similar. ND is a great dev, but their games are pretty similar narrative adventures (close enough anyways).

Not a knock on them, but a lot of people that have joined Initiative are coming from teams that have made the same 2 franchises for 1-2 generations now.

The way they essentially first introduced the world to the ps5 was boring, but a I bet the console won’t be. I love tech, but I would have hoped their first confirmation/talk of a new console came in a more interesting way than an interview and nothing for us to actually see yet.

Maybe it means when they show it for real (to consumers and world at large), we won’t have 30 minutes of tech talk by Cerny this time and they can just show off it’s strengths instead of just tell...

I want them to help bring Lost Ark and a couple other Korean titles to the West. Korea makes some decent mmos and arpgs that just never make it our way.

Maybe see if one of those devs can make an Xbox/windows exclusive arpg if not a “port” of an existing title. They’ve made some that rival big Western names imo.

The only reason this might have been a question for most is due to how Quantum Break was developed and ran. It had a really weird resolution and rendering mode compared to other games when it first launched in base One.

Most any non-open world game runs at 4k on X (if Enhanced of course), and even many open world games.
