That's exactly what I did as well. I had a 2TB which I moved to my PC when I got the 4TB.

I got a 4TB SSD for my PS5 for $186, and PS5 Slim Disk 1TB is $500 if you buy a PS5 on sale and the SSD on sale like I did you could have a 5TB for less than the $600 that gets you a 2 TB xbox and you would need to buy a 2TB proprietary SSD which MSRP for $359.99 and you would still have less storage than me.
So lets do the math, that's $600 + $360...
These seem really bad you can get a Digital 1TB PS5 for $450.
And you can buy a 1TB PS5 with a 2TB SSD for 3TB total for $550 or less.
The xbox rumors about the handheld and the 2026 console are fake.
The 2026 one was started by some xbox fanboy on twitter who was mad there wasn't going to be a mid gen update like the PS5 Pro.

And it was a really early gen game too, not like HB2 which is a mid gen game.

Sony opened the show with Lego Horizon and closed the show with Phantom Blade 0.
Plus they had a sprinkle of console/not on xbox exclusives during the show.
The graphics are so overrated. So much of the graphical budget just went to rocks and other lifeless backgrounds at sub 1080p and 30fps.

I'm saying they still are designing their own chips, they just use AMD templates.
The PS5 APU has features from RDNA 1 2 and 3, and the PS5 Pro adds features from RDNA 4, and the CPU is the same with it own customized features.
Then all of that is paired with other custom chips.
The game is story based though, it's going to have free story updates many will probably coincide with new character additions.
It'd be funny if they were dunking on xbox with the green MCORP stuff.

PS5 outperforms series x because it uses custom chips to process things that on xbox need to be done by the GPU/CPU.
Things like Tempest Audio, and it's custom compression chip for SSD as well as having a separate chip for upscaling using checkerboard and presumably FSR runs off it as well.
The PS5 is incredibly customized.
The SSD, the Tempest Audio, the APU itself is a mix of cross generation AMD hardware in order to be more optimized for gaming and cost efficient.
The PS5 Pro also has features from cross generation AMD hardware with RT features from RDNA 4 plus it's own custom upscaler PSSR.

It's not one company, there is PC in multiple forms, Nintendo, streaming, mobile and countless other things.
Xbox does not need to exist.
Their current existence is just making things worse, it would be better if they just became a publisher.
And are most likely the exact same games they have been showing since 2019.
