Actually you bring up a good point on how they constantly overlooked Tempest which was doing real 3d with ray traced audio way back in Forbidden West. And I almost forgot AstroBot which came with the console for free also had Tempest 3D at launch.
But it's all similar to how they praised Starfield for having graphical modes like 40fps and unlocked framerrates like it was some kind of new thing and they were so innovative while ignorin...
The funny thing is if your playing on console you're not even seeing these screenshot graphics that they are showing playing on $1000+ PC GPU's.
Show the series s screenshots...
But they have a long history of doing what you are giving them a pass for.
It's not like this is a one off issue.
DF actually lies in their comparisons, cross reference them, nearly every time they will say xbox "is the same" graphics as PlayStation even when PS5 clearly has better draw distances higher res textures at distance better or lighting over all.
If they say "same" cross reference it, nine times out of ten they are lying.
Or how they will cherry pick a frame drop on PS5 and show it in the first 10% of the video even if the game performs ...
If you make a real game with actual graphics modes and a story that's longer than a tv episode with some actual game play and it's tied to Sony the best you can hope for is an 80.
If you make a 6 hour walking sim that can't even preform at 60fps 10/10 as long as it's on xbox.
If this game was on PlayStation it would have been 6/10 at best.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink - 60
Helldivers 2 - 80
Pacific Drive - ...
Two trillion dollar company that just can't wait to put as many people possible out of work as fast as possible.
It feels like every single thing they do is making gaming worse and destroying the industry.
So what you're actually saying is that the PS5 and PS+ are a great value, right?
I don't think I have ever agreed with anything you've said, but on this issue we're on the same page.
The point would be that it plays PS4 games, PS4 is still getting games constantly.
Everyone here including yourself presumably already has a library of games to play on this.
The success of the Portal shows the value of not needing to have a separate game library.
So, Microsoft has sold less consoles than the previous gen the past two generations with this most recent generation falling off the most. And in this current generation the most popular console by far is the least expensive one. But they are going to try to push out another console that is supposedly powerful not the thing that actually worked for them a cheap game pass console...
And they are going to come out with this thing when the PS5 Pro will be on the market so i...
Can you count?
The reviews were at 1300 when this article was released and even then it was still 75% positive, since then after people played it, it's had extremely positive feedback. And rightfully so, it's one of the best games Sony has made.
ALL REVIEWS: Very Positive (5,036)
User reviews: Very Positive

This did release day one on PlayStation and it sold as I recall 3 million in it's first week, so I am sure that at some point it had 460k+ concurrent players.
But that increase needs to offset the loss in physical sales. CoD has been a big seller that has retained it's price much better than the average game.
And just like any game with dlc and mtx the majority of players don't buy it, it's the big spenders that really generate revenue, so the idea that by adding it to Game Pass is going to increase spending on mtx will likely not pan out as well as people hope. On top of that Microsoft currently gives away conten...

They hired a bunch of people and opened a new studio for a publicity stunt?
Yea, they hired people... Who? "Oh, you know, people..." people who worked on TLOU Uncharted and Destiny of course...
It's the same crap they did with The Initiative where they were under fire for buying a bunch of studios and not forming anything except even more sketchy this time. Of course the The Initiative was formed with people most...

I think this is just a publicity stunt and that this studio never actually produces a game. Someone at Microsoft was like were getting cooked in the media after they closed these studios and they came up with a plan to create some dummy studio someplace outside of the reach of the English speaking presses reach to distract people.
"Oh hey we're not closing studios we're actually creating studios"
And of course what are they working on.....
The impact of xbox consoles on the industry is near irrelevant at this point. We wouldn't be hearing rumors of publishers skipping xbox if xbox was important.
Adding a digital only console is more likely to lower engagement with the brand. I highly doubt that not having discs on shelves is going to do anything to help increase sales and profit margins.
Think of the people going into a game store and seeing PlayStation with a bunch of discs on the she...
All this really shows is that xbox fans have incredibly low standards.
