Marvel does not own the games rights... They own the character, Sony paid to license the character and pays royalties per copy sold. And of course Disney owns Marvel.
There are Horizon Zero Dawn physical Lego sets, Lego owns those sets, not Sony. Presumably, Lego pays royalties to Sony on each set sold.

PlayStation doesn't have full screen ads ever. The only ads are in the store and on the explore page.
I feel like this isn't even as bad as the way they are trying to force paid mods by doing pointless updates that break all the mods on Nexus.
Nexus and those modders have been such a huge part of why their games have stayed relevant for so long.

Ya know, PlayStation has a feature where you can use two controllers as if they were one. While I get that it's not co-op but it makes it so you don't have to swap the controller.

It's not the subscriptions directly that people are talking about. It's putting the games on the service day one and shifting the industry away from the direct sale model and trying to fund game development on a subscription profit.

Yes, and the game looks great and it performs great too especially for a big open world game.
Of course, It doesn't have ultra detailed rocks like Hellblade but it's also not sub 1080p, 30fps or 6 hours of set pieces...

Microsoft paid 8B to buy Zenimax then fired well over 1000 people from Zenimax between the time they closed the deal and they announced these shut downs.
People talk about the 1900 they fired most recently, but that was only one wave of three sets of layoffs from their gaming division so far this generation totalling around 5000 people this generation. Not counting the dozen plus studios they canned last gen including Lionhead the original Fable developers.
