Yes CD get scratched, but the 360 issue was that the disk drive spindle put the disk back onto the tray before it stopped spinning. That was not the case with PS1 or PS2.
The 360 had an actual problem caused by the hardware itself. The disks would get circular scratches from the disk spinning on top of the tray.
And I own plenty of PS1 and PS2 games and none of them have that type of scratches. Where as the 360 games I own all...

I think the fact that Mihoyo has gone from delayed release to simultaneous release and WuWa seems to have had it's PlayStation launch accelerated says that these companies are taking PlayStation extremely seriously.

The rumors have been more accurate than what Microsoft actually says about pretty much everything, but specifically closing Arkane, putting games on other consoles, tiers of game pass and raising the cost because of CoD ect.

Pathfinder: WoTR is one of my favorite games it's got a D&D base with some of the best character creation of any game. And the multiple Mythic Paths offer meaningful changes to the way the game plays out and enhance character creation it's very cool.
I recommend the tactical mode for combat.
That's not how it works, your only taking into account the bare minimum possible. Using your example It they could have sold 2000 Portals and it would still be the highest earning accessory.
It doesn't need to sell at a 1:1 ratio with PS5 to be considered a success.
Sony is saying it's selling well the analysts and sales trackers are saying it's selling well, so I think we can all assume it's selling well.

People can turn on the promotions in the account settings.
But that only makes this worse because not only does it go against what they said they were going to do with game pass when they said all Microsoft games would be on the service day one heck even six week ago they were assuring people that CoD wouldn't be on a second tier.

Isn't it interesting how when PlayStation raised it's price every website under the sun was calling them anti-consumer calling for boycotts and more. Yet Microsoft has raised it's price twice since then (more if you count regional increases) and yet I haven't seen a single article that is more than the least bit critical of them.
In fact I what I see is cope articles like this basically trying to set the narrative that this is all fine blah blah blah.
That is just not true, they still gave out $10 codes and this isn't the first time they have given out PS+.
They also have given out at least 18 months of Apple TV and a years worth of Apple Music and there have been other promotions too.

Good news they'll raise the price again soon, especially when they hear how much you guys want them too...
If this is true all i have to say is that they clearly have no idea what they are doing. There is no plan, they are just "trying stuff".
Every month is some new scheme each dumber than the last...
That's not going to increase sales and the small increase in price is certainly not going to be close to enough to pay for all the for the game development of all these developers they now own.
Microsoft was doing so much better...
They could have not bought all these publishers and still got the games.
Then not had to close 4 studios fire 5000 people from their gaming division or had to raise the price because they spent 70 bn for CoD.
How much does the price of game pass need to increase to cover all this development. Is it even possible to get the price high enough to cover the costs before it's unappealing to consumers anymore?
