And hopefully maxing out the character isn't a trophy, if it's as lengthy as BloodBorne.. I can beat the game 3 times over without maxing out everything.

MicroLED FALD isn't at it's full potential yet, but it's going to be beast when it does. If the newest Samsung Q9FN was available at the time of my purchased, if it has Micro LED(not sure), I probably would have went with it and if they had a smaller size. lol. But it's also $2000 more than what I paid for mine.
They have edge-lit local dimming, I'd hardly call that effective. At least none of their 2017 models have anything better than that. I think it's pretty lame to not have it in 2017. Sony is really pushing FALD with their 900 Bravia series.

The Q9 is not the best TV today.. I have seen it, side by side, and chose the OLED, even with the issues I read about. rtings.com does some pretty extensive testing too.
I was researching OLED issues for weeks before I bought mine, and after seen one in person, and the lack of burn in on a floor model 8 months later, I jumped on it with warranty. I have had no issues with image retention, burn in, sunburn, banding. etc. 800 hrs in, and trust me, I fucking looked. Mostly gaming, but still a lot of Youtube and Netflix, no cable programs. I put on energy saver at night when I am drifting off watching a show. I keep brightness at 57%, and it's still blindin...
He doesn't have the new QLED. The 2017 ones have good colors, but that's about it. And every every Samsung model in 2017 lacks local dimming, even the highest end.
What's the input lag for your monitor. I think the best are around half that of good TV's. I still think TV's have better picture quality.
Samsung...no local dimming, still edge lit. They are way behind on 4K HDR, even with the fake "QLED" lol, but enjoy! LG C7 OLED. :) Xbox One S and PS4 Pro though. ; ;

Game mechanics? His criticizisms are hardly about game mechanics, they're much deeper than that, political, social and philosophical. The kinda shit only people like him would even care about.
They did(a studio, and published) South Park TFBW, why would they be afraid of offending anyone.. lol
I don't think adding grind adds any value to the price of the game.
