I think the problem is tacking on a multiplayer with a single-player centric game. I would not complain about COD/Destiny or something similar having Online trophies.
Just finished with Bloodstained: RotN and put extra time into it for the achievements and felt I experienced a bit more of the game than if I wouldn't have cared about them. I could say that about a lot of games; trophies/achievements add just another element of challenge or will take you out of your way to appreciate the game.

Wouldn't think Switch/PS5. PC is still MS regardless of what "platform", and I'd be less surprised to see it on Mac.

It's a cluster fuck. Don't expect to be good at winning. It's fun for a while, then you realize you should be drunk when playing, it's a drunk party game at it's root.. look at the stumbling mechanics. lol.

If it struggles to run at 1440p/60FPS on my RX 580 and Ryzen 5 3600, I'd be pretty disappointed at their optimization. I'd likely be playing this on my PS4 Pro or X1X, though.

Soooo why can't you get a gaming rig, or a PS5.... Stadia/streaming just ruins the point of next-gen graphics, and graphics period. it's just convenience. Get it on Steam if you can't afford a scalped PS5.
I played The Witcher 3 on base PS4 on the day of release and it was NOT this buggy, no fking way.
