I played through God Of War 3 In about 11hrs. but that 11hrs. didn't seem like 11hrs. it was so good. I wouldn't have minded if it were 11hrs. longer to be honest. Hell, my jaw was in my lap so much of the time playing it, absolutely amazing game.
Why is he quoting NPD sales numbers (US sales estimates) in a UK web sites interview. Still doesn't even come close to explaining the other stupid comments he made in that interview.
Still a douche.
In the article the person mentions both achievements and trophy's throughout the article as overdoing it. The title of the article should have both trophies and achievements in it, but instead he chose to flame bait the PS3 fans, seems standard practice these days. I' m sure I'll be called a fanboy for mentioning it.
If you like em fine, if you don't fine, doesn't affect the game really.
But then again it may be a huge success, unfortunately some people will be unhappy if it is. We can probably make a good guess as to who the people could be.
Great way to spin BS.
1: They have no where near sold twice as many consoles as the PS3, and even though they are close in the US they haven't sold twice as many and even at that is because of the year head start. Europe is neck and neck and that is only because of the UK.
2: The reason the Xbox arcade is cheaper is because it does not have a hard drive and comes with a wired gamepad (add arcade price of $199.99 and the Price of the hard drive $89.99) not because it ...
People who complain about Xbox 360 hardware problems are mostly people who have experienced these problems first hand, mostly by having had to replace there 360 console, many having to get it replaced more than once. Me being one of them, and I take very good care of my consoles.
It is a fact that there are problems with Xbox 360 hardware. But when there are comments or complaints about the problem the Xbox 360 people seem to assume its a fanboy response.
Kinda a sch...
Kinda of silly to make an article on a subject that is not even been talked about very much if at all. I have not seen a single comment anywhere saying that making the game for Xbox 360 ruined the game in anyway or that that was the reason the first half is linear, It certainly didn't hinder the PS3 version, the PS3 does look a bit better than the Xbox 360 version overall. Both look great though.
Personally I like the game a lot.
Classy and Microsoft aren't two words I would put together. This Greenburgh tweet is not the first example of Microsoft or its reps being not classy. The classy people like Peter Moore and Jay Allard are gone or we here nothing from them any more.
I was watching the Ustream of the GDC Sony Conference and there were so many Xbots on there, saying negative things about PS3, Sony, Move. giving out Sony spoilers to Sony Exclusive games constantly through the whole conference.
The stupid Xbots botch about PS3 Fanboys commenting on Xbox topics that almost always mention PS3 somehow, but it's OK to do what they did with the GDC Sony conference. Xbot Hypocrites!!!
The picture he used in his article pretty much negates any respect he thinks he deserves.
I'm a fan of the PS3, I have upwards of 60+ games and I play and use my PS3 all the time. I enjoy My PS3 very much.
I have a Xbox 360 and have about 50+ games for it, used to play it quite often not so much any more. Two reasons the Xbots on Xbots live and Microsoft manipulation and business practices.
The Xbots are the most narcissistic, whiny, stupid, hypocritical...
Not worth commenting on, really.
Just someone who needs attention and is very long winded.
The Xbox 360 is not and never has been 10 million ahead of the PS3 not even in the US.
Appropriate, since Xbots would eat a steaming pile of horse sheet if Microsoft told them to.
@MrAnonymous
Not any one's fault, just the two companies didn't expect demand to be so high the first two months after the holidays.
Also may be a shortage of a particular part for either console that cold be holding manufacturing up.
Dumb azes talking up sales for the Xbox 360 for a month when there was and still is shortages for the Nintendo Wii and PS3. In the area I live in it has been pretty difficult to find a Nintendo Wii or a PS3 on the shelves for over two months now, one because of the shortages for the consoles, two because they are snapped up as soon as they are put on the shelves. Same goes for the internet, one day Amazon, Best Buy, EB has them in stock and the nest day they do not.
Most of the people praising Natal in the first place will never buy it or if they do, will not use it much if at all after the newness warez off. It is just an attempt at capturing the casual games market, Me personally think it has very little chance of doing that.
Something that looks kinda cool at first glance but in the end is not very practical for gaming.
Same tired argument. Yes digital distribution may be the future but I don't think it is the near future for everything, and Blu-Ray is the here and now and it does have its place.
How would a game like Final Fantasy XIII be digitally distributed to the Xbox 360 when many people have only a 20 gig hard drive that only has just over 13 gig space available and the game is about 18 gig in size. The PS3 version is much larger because of the much better video cut scenes and possibly be...
Should come with new hard drives especially at the price they are charging for them.
You can transfer more than once with the cable but they limit how often you can do a transfer to once every six months or a year, one or the other.
Too many Xbots working at Destructoid I never go to that site for anything.
