If the Military were pissed at Sony we would have heard of it from somewhere other than a obscure blog. I am sure Sony made arrangements with the military and anyone else using the PS3 for super computing that would allow them to continue using them for that purpose.
It's the firmware they changed not the system itself so it would not be that difficult for Sony to a have a specific firmware for that kind of use.
Correction, the PC version looks much better and runs much better on a decent machine. The console versions still don't look that great or run that great.
Sorry for assuming you were male without looking to see who wrote this article.
There is so much flame bait being written these day that it is hard to tell honest mistakes from dishonesty.
I can appreciate that you corrected the mistakes, many probably wouldn't have, I respect that you did.
This guy doesn't have a clue what he is talking about. First the sales numbers for this game are no where near what he is saying and second the PS3 version has been selling better than the Xbox 360 version since its release.
I do believe that those commercials were payed for by Microsoft (hence only the Xbox 360 version being mentioned in the Ads) and may have had some say in using the PS3 footage in the commercials or they probably knew about it.
I think...
Other than the grass the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions look the same, they both have no anti aliasing, the frame rate looks the same for both, the only difference is the grass.
So, to some people the Xbox 360 version having grass makes that version leaps and bounds much better than the PS3 version. Well in reality it is not leaps and bounds better, in fact the game is not that impressive looking on any of the systems, so in my opinion the reason for buying this game should be bas...
Some great ones for me were, besides some of the ones listed in the article:
The God Of War Sound tracks
The Halo sound tracks
Little Big Planet
Mass Effect 1 and 2
Uncharted 1 And 2
Bioshock 1 and 2
Silent Hill games
Actraiser
I agree, that's exactly what the service is meant to do.
A smart business man would know this. I think a dis honest one does know this.
David Perry has been going after Sony for a While because Sony is a threat to his upcoming business model, while he remains silent about Microsoft because they play a big part in the PC market and his Gaikai system uses PC games.
There is no story so far, just a bunch of fanboy implied bull crap that's not even coming from the PS3 fanboys.
I call bull on this whole story. Sony's return and repair policies clearly states that you must put the original hard drive back in the unit before returning it. If he did not follow the return instructions then it is his fault if the hard drive was not there when he got it back, besides I do believe that most of the time they send refurbished or new units instead of the original.
Sony does not offer a guarantee for any thing you add to the PS3. They have no responsibilit...
@SOAD
LOL, have a bubble.
God Help Me, I just pre-ordered this.
Shouldn't this guy done a little more preporation before doing a video, like learning the controls, I think the few problems he had in that short time would have been remedied had he spent some time getting aquainted with the controls before making the video.
Seems that Kotaku tries to put everything that has to do with Sony and the PS3 in a negative light.
The PS3 version is the only one getting Metal Of Honor: Frontline with the game.
Why Do We Hate Bobby Kotex?
Reasons Not To Buy PlayStation Network Plus......Blah, Blah, Blah.
Hells Yes
Might have sold better on PS3 but it wouldn't have been any better than it is now, which is pretty average.
I've played it and it really isn't worth sixty bucks, glad I got it for forty bucks.
Nothing but wishful doom and gloom.
