Yep, went straight to the comments and down-voted the article. Then the guy that posted it reveals himself, and defends himself. Handed out more "Trolling" and "Immature" bubs in the last 7 days than since I joined the site.
Sometimes I think this industry and it's "fans" take themselves a little too seriously. God, I miss the 90's.
Voting it down.
That picture made me smile. And I just dated myself. :)
Well said bubs for you.
Funny bubble for you.
I was discussing the new game with a buddy of mine the other day. He hadn't seen it, so I said to him "the new Lara is a more realistic unrealistic big-boobed English model-type hottie that still would never have anything to do with mortal men. Oh, and she's 'gritty' now because she has 'grit' on her". Sooooo dirty. Mmmm. Hehehe.
Alot of bashing going on, but I didn't think Anniversary or Legend were bad games. And the old games only got ...
Is it really so difficult to like both series of games? Gamers are too easily divided, and they're stupider for it. Publisher execs love that.
Grow the f**k up.
Pretty worked up over a single disagree. Maybe N4G isn't for you.
Or you could switch to decaf.
No foresight. No vision. So many don't see the direction this points to down the road. Just keep paying you blinder-wearing consumers. You'll be getting the house then that you built the foundation for today.
I miss the Unreal and Quake days. When I could go to any number of sites and just download whole map packs.........for freeeee. Tons of maps. THOUSANDS OF MAPS. AND MODS. FREE.
Gamers coming up in this generation are so used to getting out mom's cc for Live points and paying for DLC and whatnot. They never knew how good we had it, till the companies decided to monetize every damn thing.
When I saw the $15 price for 3 maps in MW2 (last CoD I bought was 4),...
Bubs to you, sir.
I think the fact that this discussion *still* comes up all these years later, is a testament to the game. Haters gonna hate, and non-conformists want to hate anything that's popular. That's life. I was 23 when 7 came out, and I had not played any of the previous games at that time. I re-bought 7 when it hit PSN and enjoyed it yet again. Whether that's nostalgia or not, fact is I still bought the game. It was top seller on PSN for I don't even know how long. I can't sit her...
Yep. Bubbles for you.
It would have bee nice if they had never had romance in the series from the start. It always felt completely artificial, awkward, and ultimately unneeded.
Gamestop can suck it. I am "making a major push" back by not buying bullshit cash-ins by publishers to make even more money. Gaming is already too damned expensive as it is.
Prediction? Phoned. In.
I thought X-2 despite the J-pop girl-power vibe had one of the great FF combat systems.
I miss Mechwarrior. I even miss Mechassault. And Heavy Gear II. And, I'm old.
Normally, I would never celebrate another person or group's misfortune. And I am still not doing so now. But these people turned on the user base that made them who they are, and let the Unreal franchise fall to shambles so they could worship the almighty dollar and develop for "consoles first". Therefore, I do not care what happens to them.
I know I'll get at least a disagree from some Gears fan, but at the end of the day, that's gravy. Unreal deserved ...
