PS5 version has been fine for a while now. I think the game is about as good as it's going to get now. There's still some issues, but it's usually really minor things that are cleared up after relaunching the game (like shiny objects start glowing super bright and bloom). The biggest issues left are just game design issues they'll probably never address, like how basic some aspects of the character customization is.
Personally, I like it all in one week. More like over 3 days. I can take time off from work, sit back and take it all in.
FF7R reveal and crowd reaction. Bonus for watching the gametrailers hosts reaction.

It wouldn't surprise me if at some point they rebrand Xbox as Game Pass instead.
"And so we want to make sure The Last of Us Part 1 PC debut is in the best shape possible"
They thought this passes as the best shape possible?

"are there ANY games on XSX that load in a few seconds out there?"
Plenty of them do. They may not be quite as fast as the PS5, but still way better than last-gen. In my experience, I can fast travel across the map in FH5 and it'll load in a few seconds.
I think he's talking about people not bothering with PS5 due to supply issues and damn near everything is on PS4, which they're fine with. I work with someone like that. I offered him my order that I could have gotten through Sony, but he like, "nah. I'll wait."
They might not have played a factor when it's all said and done since they'll probably still wind up getting one.
yes. It has a login queue system, but the few times I fired it up over the weekend, it wasn't bad at all. Could just chalk it up to normal login stuff. Would be great to skip it all if you just want to play offline. My character warped back in step quite a few times switching between areas.
X as a skill attack, but also to pick stuff up. Circle's, seemingly, only use is for those sections. Why? Let us bind a skill to circle as well or move pick up to there.
I thought that was odd. Didn't one of the prior games have a button for pulling up a second line of skills? Like X is for one skill, but if you hold R1 it'd be a different skill? Might be a different game I'm thinking of.
Straight up spin.
The impression I got is the figure she was given, or misunderstood, is Japanese companies control 98% of the market in Japan, so her issue is more with the imbalance and why the Japanese government isn't doing something to allow more overseas developers to get a foothold. I'm not sure how MS buying Activision would change that since there's undoubtedly games that will be made exclusive to Xbox which just don't work there. It might actually damage the US presence since it mig...
Are you in Canada or something? It's showing $19.99

Thanks for that. Kind of surprised they didn't list the price in the article.
This sounds like an ultimately good move for consumers allowing 3rd party storefronts, but I think what's going to wind up happening is everyone's just going to run their own storefront and fragment everything making it more cumbersome to make purchases. Maybe it leads to better prices in the long run if a publisher strikes a deal with one store over another because they offer them a better cut. But I'm guessing they'll just pocket those savings rather than pass it along to ...

Just because something is one-of-a-kind doesn't mean it has any value (at least beyond the idiots who think it does). I have a penny with a very distinct scratch on it. It's a one-of-a-kind penny! Do you think someone's going to give me more money for it? Same for NFTs, and especially the legendary loot you use as an example. It may be one-of-a-kind, but there's going to be shit loads of other one-of-a-kind items out there very similar to it....
Game help. I forgot that was a thing. It's optional, isn't it? I gave it a try with Sackboy, but some were slow or just wouldn't load. I don't think I've seen it since then, or maybe I just haven't noticed it.
I almost did everything for one of the teams yesterday (still like 5 MPH off on one speed zone for 3 stars). I enjoy it for being something new to work through, but I kind of feel like Rallying isn't my thing. They make so much of a big deal of the navigation and pace notes, but if I hadn't left the driving line on, I'd be pretty upset about them. So many times the note about an upcoming turn is too late, especially when it comes up behind a hill. I even noticed one note comin...
