Take your "Rainbow Connection", Care Bear looking f.a.g fest and go jerk off on your 3shitty. (I hear that extends the life of your oh so great console) Killzone 2 is for men, bright and pretty colors are for Tele-Tubbies!
Just wait until you are flying around in a chopper from town 1 on disc 1 to town 2 on disc 2 and then back to town 1 again on disc 1! I think all you 360 users will have a different out look on changing discs then. Ouch!
PS3 all the way. I will gladly wait for a true next-gen game worth waiting for.
Read your freaking manuals!
When a developer these days says "simultaneous release", I see a delay a coming. I don't care as long as it's kick ass when it gets here. My prediction, this is the fps that will be crowned King. (until we see Killzone 2 of course)
Halo 3? (or 1 and 2 for that matter) Who wants to look like a freakin' Care Bear in a fps anyways? Never got into that. COD is for men.
Maybe finally a "movie game" won't suck from being rushed out too early. I don't know why developers consistantly push that crap out just so it gets released when the movie does. I mean hell, it's not like everyone who sees the movie is going to see it on the first night. I think if developers were to time the release of the "movie game" with the DVD release instead, it would give them plenty more time to make a quality game that MORE people would want to buy.
ho hum.
Different story, but the level layouts seem to be the EXACT same as the previous Ace Combats. The level with the city on the bay with the bridge has been in I think EVERY Ace Combat game that was ever made. This franchise needs something more than just a new story line.
What's to stop the other team on the ground from sniping your helpless butt in the sky before you even land?
I used to be a huge Ace Combat fan, until every game released was pretty much the same thing with better graphics. I was disappointed that AC6 was only coming to the 360 until I saw a demo video of it. Once again, new game with the EXACT same levels/scenarios. The city location on the sea front with the bridge...EXACT as the previous 2 Ace Combats with the same level. Bored. Looking forward to a fresh jet fighter game to come to PS3, just waiting for an announcement.
It's about creating that "next-gen" console. When you're a pioneer, it comes at a price. But the people who buy into that pioneering technology, reap the rewards. The 3D0 was a few years before it's time, but after 15 YEARS, the system still rocks in it's own right. For instance, I now play the 3DO game Twisted with my wife (then girlfriend) and our 5 year old daughter and 7 year old son. IT'S A FREAKING BLAST!!!! 15 YEARS! STILL HAVING AS MUCH FUN WITH IT! That $700.00 was the best...
Seriously, GLAD this crap is not on the PS3. I mean hell, the draw in distance is for crap and the textures just "pop" on in the background. Nice "next gen" title for xbox. PS2 titles compare more accurately. just my .02
One thing concerns me a little regarding the fact that WarHawk is a multi-player only on-line game. What happens 2,3,...5 years down the road? Will there still be anyone to play with on-line? I'm sure the numbers of actual available players at say 2am on a wed. 5 years from now will be slim. And with Sony touting a 10 year life cycle for PS3, will anyone still be playing this game in those last years of the console life? Or will I be flying around in a WarHawk all by myself looking for someon...
Nice. How seamless of an experience is THAT going to be for xbox users when they have to switch discs!
Nice typo people. It's only the most talked about game for the last 2 years, get the name right.
"remember that movies are not games."
Not true at all. There have been all kind of games in the past that are "movie games" that use film and video sequences as the interactive content ie... Night Trap, Dragons Lair, SpaceAce, Doc. Maghee, and so on. Alot of these style "movie games" have been light gun games as well. I'm sure we have not seen the last of this style of "video" game.
I just don't get the whole wii thing. Let's face it people, the whole hubbub is focused completely around the controllers. Soooo....tell me why Sony (and MS for that matter) can't just create their own nun-chuckin like devices and have people develop games for that type of controller on the PS3? I mean hell, if Sony decided to do that combined with the power of the PS3...in a couple of years people woould be saying "wii what...huh?,,,"
Ahhh, you got the grammEr thing...I was going to do grammerrr instead, but it was too obvious.
Is it just me, or does the lack of basic 4th grade English writing skills today annoy anyone else? Whomever wrote the above review needs go back to their grade school grammer books and re-read so you can formulate a paragraph that doesn't make the other literate individuals here sick. (If you need me to point out the above issues, you too should go back and READ your grammer books.)
Sorry to vent guys.
I have been a casual reader of this site for some time. I have never registered or posted until now.
I read some of this stuff and I just shake my head in disbelief on many of the issues. People, why are you slamming your peers for reporting faulty hardware? I just don't get it. No one is making this stuff up. If they were, MS wouldn't be eartagging over a billion dollars for repairs. So if MS is living up to their hasty decisions and now trying to compensate their customers, w...
I find it a little disturbing that the Lair section/sign is the smallest of all the software signs/areas. I mean hell, it's sharing space with some PSP game where Time Crisis 4 has it's own huge area/sign!? it's also the ONLY game that appears to share space/signs. I hope that this is not a sign of a ho-hum game in Lair.
