the physics and realism with the SixAxis are 2nd to none. Another IMO AAA game!
However I bet no entity tied remotely to MS will view it or refer to it as such. But it is. This reviewer even failed to mention the ability to make your own puzzels, tweak, add to, and even change current puzzels, and then the ability to share FOR FREE via the PSN. IMO, that should raise the score to maybe a 98%. Very enjoyable game...HIGHLY recommended.

5 years after purchase. NOT 5 DAYS or 5 WEEKS or 5 MONTHS like the 3shitty! And when my PS2 DID break down, it was the DVD mechinism, not the freaking whole motherboard popping it's solder points from the excessive heat! the poly count for cars in GT have physics to crunch, a gun in a 1st person shooter does not.

worse than RROD?! Come on you igit...RROD affects ALL 360 games...ALL functionality actually. Whereas this is an isolated issue to ONE GAME, and random at best. I say bad replication batch. I have a day one 60gb PS3 with no issues WHATSOEVER...period. GTA4 runs silky smooth...always.
I am a video producer and can say that over the years, I have encountered many bad batches of media...this issue smells of a bad batch. simple as that.

The only thing holding this title from a perfect score is the lack of custom soundtracks or at least a variety of soundtracks...ie..different genras.
My 8 year old son has just finished creating a map that blew me away! Game is great!

How many people out there own BOTH a 360 AND a PS3 and bought GTA IV? What system did you buy it for?
I would have to think that this scenario played a big part when we look at the sales being so close even with 360 instal base being currently larger than the PS3's by at least 5-6 million.
If I owned both systems, I would have bought it for the PS3 knowing I would be able to play it 5 years from now. (or even next year for that matter!) There just is no guarantee...
well, at least the father of EA, Trip Hawkins and the infamous 3DO. (still have mine and Twisted is still a blast)
However, if EA did make a consol, MS would be the only one to go. Sony has plenty of studios in house as well as 3rd party devs who are closer to them than anyone else. I can see a scenario where 3rd party devs and publishers like Insomiac, Naughty Dog, and Take Two (and many more) would team up in principle to tank EA's consol.
