By this I mean, if you come across an idiot saying anything online that you don't want to hear, mute/ban them from that and EVERY game you play on that network! This data list could easily be read by the PS3 upon logging into the network so the idiot you heard last week will never be heard by you again on ANY online PS3/PSN game. PS3 has both...COD4 has BOTH! duh! You are probably thinking of COD3 which did not have voice. Everything else since has...and for FREE! and that's FREE not FEE! FREE!
You have got to look at the PSeye at it's whole, not it's parts. While a simple webcam can do ONE small part of the PSeye's capabilities, it cannot even remotely come close to it's whole. Now, with that being said...you refer to just ONE of the capabilities the tech demo showed, 2D image scanning of a high contrast black and white image. "Objects" are easily seperated from there background due to the contrast of the image. ie...black outline on white paper or yellow banana on white ...
..the NEW PSeye has built in IR (infra red) scanning, other web cams do not. What does IR get you? 3D seperation for one. Limb tracking for two. You see, the PSeye can IR scan you as you stand in front of it which allows the PS3 to read ONLY that information that is in the foreground of the rastor.(screen) That is why it can isolate your image and pull you out of the the rest of the scene, or otherwards, it can "key" you out of the rest of the background and replace the background w...
if you get the PS3 version, no matter how long you play...your system will not DIE on you leaving you to play with your personal joystick for 1-2 months until you get your system back.
Then again, if you like piddlin your pud and look forward to the "new girl on the block" left hand, get the 360 version that pretty much guarentees you will have plenty of down time to see Rosey and her 5 sisters over the next couple of months!

So why does this matter at all? It doesn't. 90nm or 65nm does not matter in a system that has absolutely NO OVERHEATING ISSUES to begin with! And it's quiet to boot already. Going to 65nm will only be progress for the latest, more refined and thusly cheaper technology. period.

the simple fact that DL media is not wanted by all. I don't want to fill up my PS3 hard drive with a couple of HD movies and then be full. I want a tangible collection that brings with it the abilty to take that DVD or Blu-Ray disc into the car for the kids, over to a friends house for movie night, over to grandmas for kids over nights...ect. Downloading a movie might be a good alternative for renting a movie, but for me...if I buy it, I want it physically in my hand.
