People who base their game purchasing decisions entirely on a review are the punch line. People, don't be a punch line. Be an individual and find out for yourself. Rent or buy, you will like this game. (unless you expect your dragon to respond and fly like an F-16...in that case, you're probably better off being a punch line.)
That's the problem. These jack asses don't know what to do with a book or instruction manual. Instead of READING, they SMELL IT? No wonder they can't figure out the controls!

Period. Everyone who I have talked to who OWN's the game LOVE's it! Again, it takes finesse to control...not brute strength as most try.
ALL games have glitches of some sort....ALL GAMES! I have yet to experience one in LAIR that truly takes away from gameplay. 8.5/10

That's why all these idiots can't play it, because they are OVER BOARD with the controller. LAIR takes finess, be gentle. You will find that the controls are just FINE when you slow down and move your Dragon like a 2 ton animal...not an F-16.
Rent it, buy it, enjoy it. I am a HARDCORE gamer of 38 years...I KNOW what I'M talkin about when it comes to games. GET LAIR, ENJOY YOURSELF!

I was sceptical about picking up LAIR after reading a few bad reviews. My son started to cry when I told him I wasn't going to get "the dragon game" after all. (he had been looking forward to it since he's a dragon fan)
So I reluctantly went and got it. WOW! The questionable reviewers are all taking bribes. Period! There is NO problem AT ALL with the controls. PERIOD! Does the dragon react like a fighter jet...NO. It's a dragon, not a plane. The controls are VERY resp...
that there wwas some kind of method to look down the gun like in Call of Duty 3, but then again, it is a 3rd person shooter I guess. Also, I think it's too hard to kill people. I mean heck, I'm in a WarHawk nailing some dude close range and it takes literally 30 hits or more to kill him!!! Same with running around and shooting with a machine gun...what gives?
I think the game is great and recommend it to all, but I think some things still needed to be tweaked more.

Very cool! I like how your bullets can effect the surroundings including the concrete pillars, window frames, window blinds, tires, gas tanks, wood pallets, and more.
3D in the sense that you wear some sort of personal head display (VR goggles).
Every where YOU look is in the 3D space all around you.

Are you still in grade school? Do you not remember when the SONY PS1 came out? A little Sony game called Toshinden brought us ALL into 3D gaming on consoles. Everyone else at the time was still doing 2d sprite based games while SONY showed us the light of 3D. STFU and show love to Sony as they deserve it more than anyone!
