EA stated more sales for PS3. Sony's 2008 line up is going to in turn sell millions and MILLIONS of PS3's. All these new owners will be buying up all kinds of games for their systems like Burnout and even older games like Fight Night. I predict PS3 will out sell the 360 by 4:1 by the end of the year. (maybe even more)

not EVERYONE had internet connectivity. Loads of people still have dial up also. I for one want a physical disc that I own to watch in ANY of my rooms in my house, friends house, in the car for the kids, or to even loan to a friend. DD doesn't do that. period.
DD is for people who currently watch movies on their PC's. That's a very SMALL percentage. DD is a nice service to compliment the hard copy, but not replace it.
period. Take a game like Burnout Paradise City, it has billboards everywhere from companies like Burger King and CompUSA. In addition to that are MANY fake store fronts that could easily be icons like a McDonalds or Starbucks. that to me would make the city even more believable. But it does depend on the game. Burnout and GTA are games that lend itself to ads like that....Ratchet and Clank or Mario....not so much.
Moderation is the key here. Use it where it fits, don't force it...
textures don't look good at close up and hell, every smoke plume from a gernade is EXACTLY the same pattern/animation. very lame! I was expecting better from all the hype. Just a rental for me. DAMN Resistance/COD4 for setting such a high bar for standards! I do like the co-op modes though.

while I don't consider myself a "fanboy", I do often find myself making what others could deem as "fanboism" comments. I have owned just about every game console that has ever been marketed in the USA, except for xbox and xbox360. This reason for this is simply from past experiences with other consoles that never lived up to their ambitions. ie...3DO, Dreamcast, Turbo Graphix... and NOT any brand loyalty.
Now, while I do encourage people to go with the Sony...
