I agree that Sony should tag things with group names and allow automatic grouping for certain items. But the ability to customize it yourself with however you want downloads grouped is a great feature.
2K8 has that as well. 7 person offline and 10 person online play on the PS3. Not sure how many are supported on the Xbox 360
You use the guitar from Guitar Hero 2
I would assume there is a Syphon Filter game for PS3 in development. It's been a huge success on every PlayStation platform so far.
There's no bosses in the demo. It's just the 5 songs of standard Guitar Hero play
Yeah Jack Tretton confirmed this at E3 when it was announced. The game has to be coded to take advantage of it, so older games aren't really going to load any faster. Newer games will be able to utilize the extra RAM to decrease load times
With NBA 08, each version has the same core gameplay. There is a different extra mode for each game. PSP has Block Party, PS2 has The Life, PS3 has Game of the Week.
Rock Band is bundle only until early 2008, so if you want to play a guitar rhythm game for a lower price, GH3 is the best option
Haven't played Renegade Squadron yet, but it's not getting great reviews. I think it's around 72% on metacritic. I've been focusing my time on Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow, Socom, and Jeanne d'Arc
I agree, all will do well. I have all three systems and all have their strengths and weaknesses. I'm on my 7th Xbox 360, all dying from either RRoD or disc read errors (thank you Best Buy warranty). I keep coming back because it has great games and provides a lot of fun.
It's a bit cleaner because the speakers aren't firing into your hands now. All the sound is coming directly at your face/ears
I'm honestly on my 7th Xbox 360 from launch. I've had problems with both Premium and Elite systems. Whether it was RRoD or Disc Read Errors, I've had 360 after 360 die on me. My luck with the console is horrible.
I still have my launch PS2 and Xbox, and my PS3 and Wii are both running fine. This is the only console I've had problems with (other than the Sega Genesis that got thrown across the room by my cousin many years ago).
Which is more lame... this or the Dirty Dancing game? :)
I think it's controls. You have to be able to aim properly and jump/strafe when needed to avoid getting hit
Agreed. I have a ton of Mii's that I'd love to use as avatars in games for the Wii. Hopefully more games start to implement this feature. I want to use my Dwight K. Schrute Mii :)
That comment was referring to Game Data from full retail games in disc, in response to the comment above it. It wasn't referring to downloaded titles
I never said you had to install anything on the 360. It's all taken care of during the download process. This is the same if you DON'T perform the download in the background on the PS3. However, any game or demo you download in the background from the PlayStation Store needs to be installed afterwards when you click on the game/demo.
Most PS3 games install parts of the game to the hard drive to give better loading times. That part I don't mind, as it does dramatically reduce load times in all games that do this (Ninja Gaiden Sigma had zero load times, as compared to the Xbox versions that took a while to load)
It has to be the introduction of 3D gaming with the PS1 and N64 for me.
