the only thing worthwhile about bestbuy is the replacement warranty that i will use to upgrade to an xbox360 elite once then put in the 65nm chipsets....thanks bestbuy, you get to eat some of the money you are trying to take from us!
its funny how sony fanboys are jumping all over this as if the delay has pushed this game back to 2008, like a majority of all the "great" ps3 games they are still waiting for....PGR4 is delayed until October 2nd or 3rd of THIS YEAR....it has been pushed back less than ONE MONTH...lol wow, how in the world will we ever cope with this long delay??? hey, let's compare the number of games delayed for the 360 vs the number of games delayed for ps3....
keep laughing all ...
why do you even waste anyones time with your stupid comments? you post the EXACT same comment on every single xbox360 article....get a life and go somewhere else you useless TROLL!!!!
time to ignore you because i am absolutely sick of seeing anything written by you since it never contributes anything to an actual discussion...
sorry to hear about your 360, but why bother calling ms? go to the xbox website where you can setup the repair through there, and don't have to deal with incompetant "call center" people...everything is taken care of online and they send you what you need
what was the point of that useless article? the guy starts out stating he is going to do a comparison of a hardcore gamer/movie lover...um, okay, so i can do my own comparison of a hardcore gamer, and here is what the price comes down to:
xbox360 premium = $350
ps3 (60gb) = $499
any questions??
why do people even bother reading and commenting on these stupid "articles". any time people compare these two consoles, it is the SAME S...
the "falcon" 360 is NOT a new sku...it is simply the codename that microsoft gave to the 65nm chipset...why do people keep making comments on it as if it were some sort of new 360 sku??? EVERY SINGLE CONSOLE has gotten interhanl hardware upgrades throughout the lifespan of the console to reduce costs, yet all these sony fanboys keep jumping on microsoft for something sony has done countless times with the ps1 and ps2.....
lets also remember that Madden 06 and Madden 07 are both barely useful as drink coasters....i really hope Madden 08 is actually a GOOD football game....i myself an done with Madden unless i can pick it up for like $20 several months down the road...i wasted my money on Both '06 and '07....
um, kind of hard to do that when he had only RECENTLY accepted a job at EA...i really think it is kind of hard to change the development for soon-to-be released games when you are a new employee and have ZERO to do with the actual game writing code pertaining to the way a game runs on a console lol
well, this makes you wonder harder as to why GTA4 got delayed....possibly because running it smoothly on the ps3 has been an issue and they want to work that out before releasing a game? obviously releasing a game that does not run well will impact not only what poeple think of the console, but also of the game developer.....
i agree, that's probably the one of the main reasons. there is probably like a 10:1 ratio of premium's to core's...although i am still surprised people are buying the core, unless people are buying them simply to have 2 360's to form LAN parties and stuff like that for gaming....to me, a $20 pricedrop is actually not anything since you can find coupons for online stores to get like 10% off an order sometimes...micrsoft should have dropped the price $50 on ALL sku's....kind of a wimpy priced...
yeah but we had like 8 articles about how the ps3 was sold out at various online stores after it's price drop, so why all of a sudden when it happens to the 360 after a price drop, is this stuff not post worthy anymore??? if fanboys post articles and approve them from one side, then they really can't complain and whine when the other sides posts the EXACT same type of articles for the other consoles.....
bubble for you simply for your name lol
um, so i guess the fact that microsoft already CONFIRMED that it has been continually changing the internal harware components of the 360 to improve quality, along with "mutually" cancelling the contract of one of the manufacturers of the 360 (rumored to be tied to a majority of the problematic 360's) about 6 months ago is a "smoke screen"? right, addressing the issue with BOTH a hardware fix AND a warranty that costs ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for ANYONE that has an issue with t...
i agree. all the things he points out have already been addressed or dony by microsoft. and he uses one of the stupidest and most annoying terms that exist today... "too little, too late"...um, okay, so he thinks that NOT doing anything would have been a better strategy?? i mean really, the term "too little too late" is a complete BS term because it basically means that something WAS done, but it is the opinion of this "journalist" that it's not good enough fo...
i think they didn't mention the xbox360 because it is sony who markets the ps3 as a great value at $500 and $600 since it has blu-ray built-in along with wifi and all that. the 360 doesn't, it is a gaming console with multimedia functionality added, not the other way around.
i think most owners of next-gen consoles, either ps3 or xbox360, don't care about alot of the "media" functions of their systems. when people were eagerly waiting for the next-gen consoles to come out, they reason they were eagerly waiting was because they wanted to PLAY NEXT-GEN GAMES....what a weird concept!!!! yes, there are alot more to each console than just playing games, but a majority of people seem to feel that they want a gaming console simply for gaming. that seems to ...
you are exactly the type of person that makes me want to scream profanities in frustration...you have ZERO need for an hdmi port, yet you feel as if you are getting shafted if there is any kind of newer feature added to whatever item you have, even when you admit you CAN'T use it....
do you also complain every year when a car manufacture adds a few new features to a car that you might have purchased a few years ago? should the car manufacturers be required to give us all new ...
not really, because a majority of people still DO NOT have a tv that has an hdmi port, so it is a feature that can only be utilized by a minority. the last estimate on hdtv's in north american homes was at about 20%. it will obviously increase, but it is stupid how there are people out there that keep complaining about things they can't even use.
i have 2 hdmi ports on my hdtv, but i have not complained about not having an hdmi port on my 360 once. it is a convenience of con...
Can you please provide a source for your information? I have not been able to find anything regarding your comment and I'm sure everyone would want to read up on the article you got your information from...thanks!
oh and by the way, Take Two had already stated that the GTA4 demo during E3 was gameplay on the 360, so maybe their issues are framrate issues on the ps3? either way, please give us the source
i kind of agree with you, he seems to "imply" that he is talking directly at sony since he only specifically mentions that people do not want to spend $500 or $600 for added fancies such as blu-ray and hd-dvd, but the ps3 is the only one that is at that mandatory price range...by mandatory, i mean it has no option of not having blu-ray, so the price of $500 is mandatory to own a ps3. the 360's mandatory price is $279 and the wii's is $250.
