In the period of 5 weeks, I got Ratchet, and have Uncharted, Rockband and Assasins Creed on preorder (Although, if AC gets bad reviews, I'm canceling and taking it to COD 4)

Games are on all systems now, The Wii, the PS3, The 360, all have a library of games, the no games argument doesn't hold true for any system.

I got my demo and just played through it, it definitely feels like a solid console game, rather then a handheld game. I'll add to this. Not that the PS3 is a leader in innovation and conceptualization, but don't let the Wii fool you into thinking that it's a pioneer and an innovator of this video game generation.
Top sellers on the Wii: Wii Play, Carnival Games, Mario Party 8, Zack and Wiki (Which is actually quite awesome, so count this one out of the example).

Ratchet's levels are huge, and load in 5 seconds.
Blu-Ray loads slower, but it's still fast enough for texture streaming. So it's all good.
