I usually don't chime in, but this comment was pretty ignorant. Sounds like you didn't even read what he said.
He's a lead game tester, and he was just giving his opinion.
He didn't come out saying there was a conspiracy theory, he just said the current form of reviewing games is inadequate for giving someone a good idea of what they're paying their money for.
And speaking of professional, Robbie Bach claiming there's no competition for Xbox live, ...
Assassin's Creed ran exactly like before.
Tested Call of Duty, got a wierd glitch where my controls and custom classes were reset, but my rank and perks thankfully weren't.
Tested Warhawk, no difference.
Tested Uncharted, No crashes...So....yeah...
PSN: DrPirate
I'll test it with Assassin's Creed, with the ticker and PSN turned on.
Game was flawless for me before, so I know how it should run.
Ratchet was released at the end of the last week of October. Honestly, this is just stupid. I would say 75k sales in 4 days is not terribly horrible.
Either way, if Uncharted gets 9's and 8.5's, at least I know, from having played it exensively, it fully earned every single point on the rating scale it got.
I'm actually genuinely surprised...If this holds true with reviews...umm...wow....
Edit: Beaten by the first five comments....
Doesn't change thte fact it's the most fun I had with a single-player game since God of War 2.
I wonder what devs are thinking:
OHHH Well since Nintendo URGED us, let's make something creative, because before we were trying to recycle the same old, same old. (don't look at RE4). Every developer is actively searching for the next big thing in gaming, gameplay and innovation. No one has to be urged to do anything.
That video made Splinter Cell look more like a brawler then a stealth game. I love how stealthy he was throwing chairs, tables and other people in a restaurant.
Day One purchase for me.
God I'm such a fanboy..............(Metal Gear fanboy that is)... :(
I'm approving this, not because it's official, it's not.
I've done this from the beginning, and the Assassin's Creed experience for me has been frame smooth, and lockup-free. I'll attest to the fact that this works.
Very decent blog post. I agree with your points.
Very well written, I commend your language and writing skills.
All I came in here to say is: Lets keep ignorant ethnocentric comments away please?
I'm actually curious as to what people have to say on the subject.
As far as I'm concerned, if the country allows porn to be sold in video stores, then it should be allowed to sell mass Effect with a scene (where you see basically, nothing) that is sexually suggestive. This isn't a question of Singapore growing up, but rather, a question of the double standard in selling video gam...
I'm in this group.
Just beat the game last night at 3 in the morning. 25 hour playthrough, but I got 100% of the memories, but not the additional memories. Haven't encountered a single lockup or freeze, or glitch, or bug.
I'm on the PS3 version, framerate has been clean for me, the only graphical issue was tearing on the view point pans, and turning the camera as fast as I can.
Good game I might add, very compelling story, but curiously unfun....Po...
Fury, you are my new best friend.
That post had me in stitches.
The fact is, Penny Arcade started Child's Play means you need to go die for just thinking that.
They helped so many sick children, and I've seen it with my own eyes. Go screw yourself man.
Wow Zhuk, honestly? What the hell was that?
Uncharted has rumble.
I would know, I own a Dualshock 3 jiggyay.
Exactly. This title is misleading and people are posting comments without reading what he said.
I agree with this 100%
