Thank God, I was hoping for a new series to take over Metal Gear (since it's dieing soon :( ) Can't wait to play it in the coming week.
I'm so happy this game is doing well with reviews so far.
I anticipate this title very much.
I'll add that I was equally impressed with the demo.
When a game gets my blood running like that, I know it'll be good.
Defintely my Game of the Year for this year.
Worst part was defintely when the demo ended, I'm surprised how good the shooting felt considering the noticeable lack of rumble when I compare the experience to Gears of War.
So basically, they don't want to split the financial year and it'll look better to investors. It makes sense, hope the game keeps getting better and better until then.
Can't wait to pick this up, Epic, you are made of win.
The flash player has not been updated...I still can't watch Gametrailers content.
Sorry if no one agrees, but does anyone else think that was a retarded review?
Edit: Wow @ bottom, calm down O_o
I'd rather want Valve to do a SteamOS.
That's a response? Who posted this news? It's a PR copy-paste to forum...
He basically said: We know you want it, but you'll get it when we feel like giving it to you.
Congratulations!
:(
....At least I was comfortable with Cory behind the helm.
But then again, Cory was much better then Jaffe, so the next director may supercede Barlog.
Ok, so don't believe me.
But know this: I have absolutely no interests in lieing, and I don't think it's funny to watch people go crazy when you tell them something.
This is what my friend has told me, he has fed me insider information for a long, long time. But, as someone above said, this is the frist time a Firmware has been available to testers before retail (They were always behind), and debug firmware is also slightly different.
Everyone: I have a report:
My buddies at a game-testing facility got 2.0 to test for game conflicts.
It does not, I repeat, DOES NOT, have in-game XMB.
Some obvious changes: PSNetwork icon is changed. I'll report more as I hear it.
Don't discount this, I'm a PS3 fan, so I wouldn't try to drag this down.
What the hell's wrong with all these retards voting.
In-game messaging is where it's at, usually games have awesome well produced soundtracks to begin with anyways.
Sigh.... Another disappointing firmware inbound...
I was thinking the exact same thing.
The weapon modifications on the weapons are different... The environments are very different so there's different shadows and lights bouncing off everwhere. This comparison is a joke.
Just wait for the Gametrailers comparision if you're really eager to fight. They do the 4X zoom in and play the exact same parts at the same time and run the games right next to each other in splitscreen (1 side PS3, one side 360)
...
Both versions have been deemed awesome. This doesn't call for a flamewar.
All gamers should celebrate, finally, a universally lauded multiplatform title.
EA is the enemy for instigiating these wars.
Yup Sak, I agree. What the hell IS wrong with kids nowadays.
17 year old threatens parents with a hitman? If I tried that at that age, my dad would tell me to call the hitman, and even hand me the phone, but then he would tell me to call the ambulance right after because I'll need one after he's done with me.
I have to admit Paky, that was quite funny, bubbles man.
More importantly, in can be the first big action game people are looking forward to.
Last November, Gears of War sold alot of 360's, Sony is hoping to achieve a similar effect with advertising Uncharted and pushing the rest of their Q3-Q4 lineup. Brand Awareness is what they have to go for to successful market the PS3, and the new price doesn't hurt at all either. "Starting at 399" sound a hell of a lot better than 600 bucks.
I feel the same way man, but CoD4 also lived up to it's multiplatform hype. Good time to be a gamer this November.
