Fantastic, got the oppurtunity to play the demo tonight, absolutely loved the concept.
Beats the Gamespot review, proof that Aaron Thomas can't recognize a good game for his life.
Hold on a minute....EA games run at 60fps on the 360, while they run at 30fps on the PS3, and get full scores higher...
Then this game, comes with a movie added to it... Faster frames and free online, and it gets the same score?
I don't want to be the purveyor of this whole Gamespot conspiracy theory, but I think even X-Box fans have to ask what the hell's up with that?
:( I really, really, really enjoyed the demo more then I had even hoped to.....
But then I read this was written by Aaron Thomas so the review has no credibility, I'll wait on IGN and 1UP. I really want this game, I loved the demo and I hate First Person console Shooters.

Not really. It's crazy to think what we'll see 2-3 years, and then 5-6 years down the line god willing this console picks up.
It would be a sad waste of potential to all gamers if this thing fails.

The Sixaxis is not useless. Alot of my friends are happy that the price of the Sixaxis will go down because they don't care about rumble.
I myself, only own one PS3 controller, my second one will be a DualShock.
I don't feel cheated at all though.
If this really does contribute to a discovery one day, then it was all worth it.
If one life is made better from it, who are we to deny the worth of life, even if it's one person.
Well, it's back to renting games to see if they're good.
I don't care. This is the last iteration of Metal Gear, let it be sent off with dignity and honor, and being the best any of the series has to offer.

PS3 bundled guitar are wireless with a USB dongle.
The drums are Wired.
Both were built from the ground up.
Both are said to be identical.
True, but I read about framerate issues. Anyone care to comment on that?

This I can agree with. Comparing yourself to another titles means that everyone expects everything to blow away the standard.
Even if it's better than God of War, if ti doesn't feel like a revolution, it'll be seen as a failure.

Exactly my point.
This game isn't Halo. It's not Game of the Year, I don't expect it to be one anyone's Day One purchase list.
But it's a damn good game nonetheless with a very different take on shooting. I'll buy it when it drops to 30-35 dollar range, because right now I'm stretched for cash with Uncharted and Assasin's Creed.
