More fighting games are welcome for the Vita.
@dasteru
It's true that the shield is more powerful but the vita will always have the best optimized games since it's a dedicated system with only 1 configuration. The shield has a high rate of piracy because Android is an open os and most devs won't take a risk on it. You can wait all you like for decent games for the shield but I'm highly certain it won't have as many great games like the vita and 3ds and this is coming from an android user.
@admiral
The free games might offset the cost but the card is still expensive in the end. Before I owned a Vita I thought the memory cards weren't much of an issue. But after owning one and getting PSN plus it dawned on me that I needed a high capacity memory card to carry all my games when I'm out. We all know micro sd cards of the same capacity are much cheaper and both memory cards employ almost the same type of technology excluding form factor. I am highly certain that if ...
To be fair the Vita right now is still pirate free, the only piracy being done on this console are psp games which won't affect vita developers. Anyway I still agree that the price of the card is high if you have a psn plus account with lots of free games.
Doesn't everyone have a pc in this day and age? Even low end rigs can play most pc games.
@golding
I have to honestly say that the pc version will never be a watered down version. They'll be pissing off the pc community if they do that and be missing out on a huge market. Do you know how much outrage they will get if the pc gaming community hears that the developers gimped Titanfall for pc? That strategy is simply financial suicide.
The adoption rate for tablets is higher simply because the majority of people who buy these tablets are not gamers. Your comparing hardware for a different type of market. Of course tablets will outsell a dedicated console but they will never deliver the same content a dedicated console can do because of different hardware specs along with pricing.
@rhai
But they don't have high end developer support because android is easy to pirate along with having to make games compatible with different types of components. Even if they had the controllers most android games don't even support them, even nvidia shield's controller is useless on most android games. Having good hardware is not the only factor that makes a great gaming machine. Also even if the games are cheap on ios and android the high end ones aren't cheap co...
It's easy to check out if a 2nd hand unit is well taken care of. If the unit doesn't have scratches then it's certain that it hasn't been dropped or abused. Also you screen issues are mostly dead pixels and it's not hard to spot them. The buttons should be a little firm when pressed not soft. Anyway if you know what to look for it's not much of a gamble to buy a used Vita. I got both my 3DS XL and Vita used but they're in excellent condition with free games. I used...
It's the casual gamers that really complain about difficulty. Then again there are different types of difficulty's. A game can be difficult simply because of bad game design and that's the only legitimate complaint regarding difficulty that I can accept.
The card prices are a pain, that's why I just buy physical copies most of the time unless I find them free in my psn plus account. I don't have really have much complaints other than that. Dragon's Crown is beautiful and fun and I'm just waiting for KZ Mercenary next month. It's a good time be a Vita owner this year, I'm seeing lots of games getting released.
Please don't ever change Jack.
Lol, I actually did the same too. It's just not hard to give her a disagree, might as well replace "disagree" with "mika" at this point.
Actually almost every past FF games were better than any FF13 game.
I'll keep my Windows 7, there's not much benefit for me upgrading to 8. I'm not having problems with my memory and I'm certainly not digging that interface after trying it out on my gf's laptop. It irritates me that it's not intuitive and even shutting it down is a chore. My mind simply refuses to learn Windows 8.
For windows 8 it is really, really annoying and it made me angry using it, but for the Xbox One it works since you can use kinect for it.
Looks like you need to reVITAlize your relationship.
Other memory cards during that time were just as expensive.
Can I be the secretary of the Makes Sense Department?
It's safe to say judging from the pre-orders, bad press, pricing and system availability they won't, but who's to say that they can't make up for it a few years from now.
