Yep the wifi version is more than enough for me. Played Killzone Mercenary beta with no problems while tethered to my phone. Also i've heard there were some issues with the 3g versions.
It would be the same as sabotaging their own consoles if Nintendo releases games for ios and android. Look people buy consoles with gaming in mind and buy tablets/smartphones for other things. The thing with portables is that they don't go obsolete after a year unlike these gadgets. Manufacturing also becomes cheaper with time. I'm an android user and find this suggestion ridiculous.
@holyduck
There's always screen protectors available. Even my Vita and 3ds xl has them cause I hate having tiny scratches on my screen.
coming up next the nintendo 2DS XL, and 2DS with 3D! Kidding aside I’ll buy one if this ever gets a clamshell version.
I would have liked it if it still had the clamshell design. There's certainly a market for a device like this but marketing it only for children is a mistake. I have adult friends who can't properly see the 3d effect and they would certainly want a 3d-less 3ds with a cheaper price. I can't see children lugging this device on their pockets either since it's so big.
If you're referring to gateway then that problem is being worked on but I still wouldn't buy it. Also mini sd cards would still be a lot, lot cheaper than the game carts. The only problem you'll likely encounter is trying to make tags for each micro sd. Anyway Nintendo's security has been very good with the 3ds, they've learned their lesson with the rampant ds piracy.
Me too I'd never abandon my 3ds xl for this!
@alpha
I have to agree that the 2ds form factor does make it more durable. But it's still so butt ugly! The DS lite was also durable even though it had the clamshell design. The 2DS would still look better if it just stayed with the clamshell design. Kids would also prefer that since they can put it in their pockets.
I just saw what the 2DS looks like and I don't like it. I love my 3DS XL and the original 3DS design. It looks hard to carry since it's in slate form. You can buy a very good condition 2nd hand 3DS for that price.
Uhmm I never pressed the disagree button......I'm not one of those people who love to disagree just for the hell of it :)
I kinda feel bad that it didn't sell well since it's from Platinum. It looks like a fun game to me. Besides selling low doesn't mean that the game is bad. I hope people give this game a chance.
Already have a smart phone for my other needs besides gaming. Besides the Vita's size makes it an awkward phone though it does have skype.
I actually don’t mind ports as long as they’re good games. People who complain about the vita not having games don’t actually own one. It not only has it’s own games but it has access to the psp and ps1 library which makes it very large. Let them lie and complain all they want , in the end they’re the ones who are looking ignorant.
As much as I love Killzone and manga I just find a Killzone manga a bit weird. Also I don't know if the manga will be canon or be it's own universe.
No! This is Bethesda!
3rd times a charm as they say.
I don't need to rely on the review scores this time. The beta was enough to convince me this game is special. Already have my money ready when this game releases. I can't believe how smooth is the multiplayer, I tried tethering my vita to my phone and it was still smooth with very, very little lags. I hope to see you all in the multiplayer arena.....of course behind the scope of my sniper rifle :)
Bethesda too greedy asking for that subscription price. You're paying for the game, internet subscription, live subscription and then the monthly subscription for the game. No game is worth spending that much money.
With the way Capcom handles their games these days I doubt Resident Evil 7 is gonna be good. The last good resident evil for me was RE4 and that was not even scary. For me RE3 was the best that I can still play and enjoy to this day. Mark my words RE will never be the same again and there's no point in giving this game a chance.
@gamecent
People will always need phones especially smartphones for todays needs that's why they will always outsell a handheld console. People who buy dedicated handheld consoles are with the gaming crowd and not the casual players. I love my android phone but in no way can it outdo my vita and 3ds when it comes to gaming and that's why I buy consoles. It's not that handheld gaming has slowed down, it's actually that android and ios phones/tablets have taken off in t...
