Um, actually it was the opinion of the website. Last I checked, the site wasn't called "Petter Hegevall's video game blog". I'm sure someone read through the review and gave it the stamp of approval, meaning gamereactor believed it was worth an 8, not just Petter.

Yes, that only applies to PS3 fanboys. I remember 360 fanboys upset with gamespot's Halo Wars review, saying they "were losing it", etc... Did I see them say similar things in the ODST review story?

Clearly if they're going to upgrade to HD, the graphics will be seeing an upgrade as well. If you look at the comparisons, the PS3 version looks better. I guess the standards for graphics have gotten a lot higher since NG2 came out.

The first Uncharted looked better than 360's best looking game. The reason NGS2 got an 8 and NG2 got a 9 in the graphics department is because IGN graded them against other games on the platform... so NG2 got a 9 because it's one of the better looking 360 exclusives while NGS2 isn't close to the best looking PS3 ...

Is PS3 a better machine? Yes. Does it have better exclusive? Yes.
However, if there was no 360, the playstation's OS and online capabilities would be awful. Competition is good.

Well as it stands right now, GT5P is a pretty old game. I do believe it's possible to upgrade the graphics of a game in 1-2 years.
Anyways, I don't understand the bickering between GT5/Forza. If it weren't for GT, Forza probably wouldn't exist... and if it weren't for Forza, GT might not be as good because of the lack of competition. Most of the people here probably only own 1 console anyways, so it doesn't matter which one is "better".
