Imitation is the most sincere form of flattery.
Did you love Sony's "confidence" at the start of this gen?
"As far as exclusive content all round for 09 the 360 easily wins BUT lets not go there"
hehehehe you so funny ^^
Why should MS invest in more first party studios when they can release a Halo or Gears every year and sell millions in a few days? The fact ODST sold as well as it did when it was just an overpriced expansion shows that they don't need to worry about new IPs.
MS isn't worried about making new games, they're worried about making money and taking as much of Sony's market share as possible. Before anyone adds to this and wants to say MS is the devil yada yada, Sony would do the same...
Yeah, exactly. The two reviews I was talking about weren't in English, but you could tell they were really impressed with the game... then they give it an 8. I can understand if there are some big flaws with the game, but I didn't learn of any from the review.
I really don't care, though. Every game is going to get some questionable reviews... I was just trying to have some fun with my comment, but it seems like I upset a few people (16 to be exact)
If MS or Sony sent out checks to reviewers, hell would break loose. But since EA does it, everyone's like "they're just marketing".
"You do realise that sony owns 33% of that bluray player so you and ur stand alone bluray player is supporting sony and every bluray disc you
buy is supporting them too. So cmbre is right. "
cmrbe said it would help the PS3 more than people imagine.. not Sony.
I think you're thinking of the beginning of Raiders of the Lost Ark.. and Drake wasn't there (to my knowledge)
It will be like in prologue where they had different variations of tracks like the high speed ring. Sometimes it was just an oval while other times it had more turns and was pretty different.
I think Forza will be similar since the demo has the road blocks in certain places.
I almost said something...
Didn't read the whole thing. I hate when sites split an article into 5 pages. Browsers can scroll up and down.
I will say that from what I've seen, the customization in Forza 3 is crazy.
Where's Media Molecule??
"Sega really haven't made the best of choices as a company throughout the years"
QFT. I should know.
I was saying people can have an opinion on the actual review scores. solar seems to think that if you disagree with a low/high review score, you're a fanboy... although I seem to recall him disagreeing with the 21/20 U2 got.
Wait, so is this another 8/10?
@below: Wow, lighten up guys. I just find it funny that people say "you will be f*cking blown away" and it's "one of the best games of all time" when they talk about Uncharted 2, but 2 reviewers from the same site thought it deserves an 8.
You guys need a hug or something.
"oh wait, you're dead."
I'm still doing fine, thank you very much. My owner's 360 has died 4 times and is 1/3...
Didn't like the first very much.
ur liek such a nub, tatotiburon.
toasttime.thegamereviews is the most hardcore review site in the whole thegamereviews network!
And imagine how many 360 fanboys will be in there whining about PS3 fanboys.
"OMG, im so tired of this site that i continually come to. yes, i hate the community, yet continue to click the comment link on low review scores for a game i can't play because i'm expecting a legitimate discourse on the review. but, like, omg... there's liek soooO many fanboys omg i cant take it anymore"
You're no better than the PS3 fanboys.
"Everyone seems so arbiturary with their scores"
arbiturary? lol
@solar
People have a right to have an opinion about a score without being a fanboy. I personally wouldn't want people to miss out on the strongest GOTY contender because the only site they read gave it an 8 while it got 9+ everywhere else.
And stop acting like you're any better than the people commenting. Honestly, b!tching about fanboys in the comments of a news story isn't...
"You don't see PD/Yamauchi feeling the need to constantly bash the competition."
I don't see ANY respected devs constantly bashing the competition.
