Yeah, I agree. Honestly I have no f*cking clue what Sessler was trying to articulate. First he was talking about not having high expectations, then something about not disliking a game just because lots of people like it, then something about not wanting to give your teenage son a razor???
I think they demonstrated what I think "The Halo Effect" is by giving ODST a 5/5, but I don't really care anymore. I just hope other publishers aren't getting any ideas.

I bet 90% of the people arguing about this only have one console. If they have more, I'm sure they have a preference because of XBL/PSN friends, controller, etc... If the stars align perfectly and none of that applies to you, then get the 360 version.

You really think "casual" gamers won't notice the lag and think it's cumbersome? I thought "casual games" were games anyone could play, not games that don't require any type of precision or timing. We're not talking about mentally handicapped people here. Could you imagine playing a multiplayer boxing game like wii sports has with that lag in it? The girl playing was visibly upset with how the car game controlled.

That's why you guys aren't game reviewers. Nobody buys Game Informer, Gamepro, etc.. to get Joe Blow's opinion. They're called 'reviews', not 'opini...
What's funny is it would've gotten a 10 had the other guy reviewed it. If one reviewer from your site believes a game is PERFECT, and another thinks it's an EIGHT, you probably need to reevaluate a few things. Maybe they should just fire all the reviewers and throw darts at a dartboard to determine scores from now on.
