the game is a masterpiece and it needs to be said. If people keep listening to all the playstation extremists they will miss out on perhaps the best game of the year.
Its a pitty that for some reason the fact that the game took so long to develop has affected its rating. I mean who cares, if the game is good its good regardless of how long its been in development.

sorry for me the game lived up and exceeded the hype. I think the problems is not the allged "green glasses" but inpossibility of any sony fan to simply accept that a 360 game is fantastic without having to find alleged flaws.
however, no game is perfect, i am sure we can find flaws with every game if we really want to. Sony fans are experts in nitpicking and hating anything ms related.

graphics were fantastic. Some of the best for the 360. I also think splinter cell looked amazing, but if i had to choose i think Alan Wake has the slight edge in the graphics department.

Anyways, I don't think the game is a 10 (very few games are), but i'll give this one 94 at least. One of my favorite 360 games ...

Very good and fair list. I think the worst of them was the RROD, no doubt about it.
On the other hand Sony's rumble fiasco was just a savvy way to attampt to screw with the makers of rumble technology (and gamers for that matter although indirectly) but it did not affect the industry, it was just embarrassing.
