U might be correct that Sony surpasses these numbers, but at the end of the day Sony will not gain the 70% market dominance they enjoyed last gen. At least not this current gen against the wii and 360 (will c next gen)
i see both companies ending up with roughly equal market shares this gen.
regarding your RROD comment, you do know that MS actually fixes the issue for free. Dont u think that most people get them fixed instead of buying new ones?

they have penetrated the market successfully.
even if Sony catches MS, they will not gain the 70% market share they enjoyed last gen. MS is in its fifth year and still very competitive with Sony.
At the end of the day, both companies are going to end up with a fairly equal share of the market, and that is good news for gamers.
of course it is bad news for fanboy whiners. (not implying u r one by the way)

i used to love getting trophies with my playstation 3, but after MS introduced its achievements i just did not like them anymore. I also loved PSN, but then Xbox Live came and copied everything.

games like Reach (which there was a gameplay leak about a month ago which looked sick), Mass Effect 2 (looks much better than one) , Splinter Cell, MW2 and Alan wake
are but a few examples. theses games are all pushing the system
this does not include all the developers which agree that the system still has more power left.
Its too bad that there are so many sony fans that just need to poo poo on E...

the 360's hard drive can be removed from the machine and used with any 360. Consequently, if ur 360 RROD's you can still use ur saved files with ur new 360.
