you made a good point, but i have a feeling this game is goin to get even more intense. also, consider that there are many types of zombies which will surely add spice to the action. But, rent it first and try it. i for one am buying it day one.

I think the state of the current economy vindicates MS' decision to sell different SKU, with and without hard drive (and by the way i have always been against not having standard hardrive)
I mean it allows consumers to make choices. And most importantly for MS', it gives the company more flexibility in the market. this flexibility will pay in dividends this christmas.

This is amazing Sony fan boys are not satisfied on just calling a double standard on reviews. Every review done by a "neutral"web site that does not give high marks to a Sony exclusive is automatiaclly labeled as biased towards the 360 by the Sony defense force.
now a review from a Sony fanboy site gives it a review( which is very good by the way) and is not what the Sony fans like then, you guessed it, it is also biased towards the 360.

I hear you man. too many incredible games this final quarter.
However, I do feel sorry for u. I think this game is amazing and would never trade it in. This for me is a keeper.
But, i can see how left 4 dead, resistance, gears, lbp, deep space, valkary chronicles, last remnant, could persuade u otherwise
in any case, too many good games, is one of the best possible problems to cope with ;)

I remember when Lost Odyssey came out for the 360. they sent an un finished version of the game to reviewers that had extra long load times. That weighed heavily against the game and as a result most reviewers penalized the game. rightly so by the way.
the point is that the game was excellent (the load time problem was not an issue in the final version). and unfortunately lots of people missed it becasue of it. But at the end it was MS fault.

well firstly, congrats to Sony. they have had some rough times, but they have managed to overcome some of their problems and things are definitely picking up. It is hard to dispute the numbers.
however, the way I see it, Sony had a 75% market share in the gaming market last generation. So unless Sony starts selling the Playstation3 at a much larger rate than the 360, I think Sony wont'be able to out perform its last gen console.

I think the point of the game is to enjoy the world of Albion. the quest is not supposed to be super big, nor the main draw.

however, i respect your point.. I finished Oblivion in three days and did not bother to enjoy the world they created. My firends keep telling me i missed out. perhaps they are right. thankfully i am not making the same mistake with Fable 2

not true. the glitches in fable II are normal. The game is playable my friend. Socom on the other hand, seems to be broken (at least at the ime the reviews were made)
and for the record i like both games. But, Fable II is masterful. i suggest you pick it up.

I am on the fence on this one.
I really enjoy the simplicity of the xbox live interface. It is easy and has everything i need. That is why i am not interested in HOME (it seems too involved.. i just want to get to the game period)
As someone who enjoys the way things are, here is hoping that MS does not ruin xbox live. (And by the way, i do not like the avatars too much. )

sony fanboys are just upset becasue their brand has some competition. It is hard to accept that u r not number one anymore.
the funny thing is that the effort that ms is doing to gain traction in this market and hitting sony dead on, is very good for us gamers
