Are the disagrees from people meaning no it doesn't track fingers??
I find the higher contrast on the xbox version gives things more of a video game look where as the brighter ps3 shots make things more realistic.
Not in every case to be sure, the shot were of driving at night where the guy had shadows on the xbox version and no shadows on the ps3 version didn't look right by any means. The ps3 should have had more of those shadows, but in well lit rooms the xbox version has too many shadows and it looks like poor/overdone lighting.
Does anybody know if the kinect can tell apart your fingers?
Like if you point at the screen index finger only, make gun fingers with your hand, do a peace sign or flip the bird will it copy what your fingers are doing?
Preferably someone with a kinect answer please.

Many PS3 owners have a steadfast disdain of anything xbox or microsoft.
Gesture and motion recognition won't be useful until their using 1080p cameras with an xray function that can tell each finger apart.
Until then you may as well be directing your device with a baseball bat or a broom stick.

They probably will someday have drivers for windows. I'm really hoping for some linux compatible drivers though. We would see some truly interactive interfaces.
It's either got to be small enough to fit in a pocket or big enough to require going in a bag.
So like pspgo sized or slightly under netbook sized. Maybe the size of a small tablet. 7.5 - 9 inch screen kind of deal.
I bet it's going to have some kind of surprise tech in there most people aren't guessing yet.

Use your melee weapons when people jump out at you.
A knife, rifle butt, or boot nets many surprise kills, and also cause humourous victim rage.
Also using it on the dash is good too.
No I can see limited use for it but I can see it breaking the in place chat system that many games use.
In the instance of killzone it would be fine for people in death matches but anybody in a two team based match should be in a group chat with the team in the match they are playing in. Not talking to other people arranging a different match.
It would work well for single player games, but would be a pain for people not using it in multiplayer.
I hope not.
Cross game party chat breaks games that rely on strategy and teamwork.
I couldn't imagine playing mag and not talking to the other people playing mag.
Besides whats the point in having a group of people playing different games talking in the same "chatroom" go hang out, find some friends, talk on the phone, or get a life, anything at all.

Agreed. Characters have been weird from the get go, they never look like their part of the world, it's like their super imposed ontop. weirdness.
Also they should use motion capture like the other top notch devs are doing.

any game made with this engine should be purchased for pc.
The console versions are always gimped. The mods for the pc version make the games ten to a hundred times better.
