what a load of crap. Those are all good deals the person reading that articles a crazy snob.
Bubble up toaster
They have generally gotten lazy.
Although I disagree about gt5 being in development for five years.
Gt5 prologue was released in 2007. I beg anyone thats played it to call it a demo. It was an intro, and a teaser for something thats intended to be epic. It was still a printed labeled and sold game. It's a well reviewed game that's sold nearly four million copies.
Also they simultaneously released the psp game while making gt5.

Which is generally how sony roll. Hopefully their saving their advertising budget for some new ip's that could use a push out the starting gate.
Successful series hardly need that kind of help, all it really does is help them if their not that great. Or it guarantees more first week sales.
I've noticed that sony is more interested in lifetime sales than first week, though first week are the ones that make headlines in america.
Good on them though, it&...
It is the first, but yeah DC universe is trying to implement it too.
Though last I heard they weren't sure if they would but were going to try. They had it working on their test servers they just had to pound out the usability and balance details.
That's silly, their doing fine, they've sold tons upon tons of consoles, the wii is still selling alright. Granted it's not booming but thats really not a big deal.
Thoir best bet and most likely course of events is releasing thoir next system around the time the other companies release theirs, possibly a bit sooner.
I'm sure they've already got it mostly designed, so they'll probably be working on some stellar release games and working the price down. ...
Yahtzee does the most accurate game reviews on the internet.
Not only are the riddled with humor and spite, he gives credit when it's due and shits on every fault he can find.
Much appreciated.
ps3 and pc players coexisting on the same server. Shiver me timbers that sounds pretty damn good.
Hopefully the games in a lot better shape upon release than the pc version. I would like to buy it but as it stands now I'm a tad wary and a ton skeptical that squeenix can deliver.
I'll reuse the example of the skyline and the ferrari.
There are a few points about this to pick on, one ferarri's are generally rare hard to get cars which are tuned to the maximum of their specifications. Their for rich people.
The skyline has so many different versions because it is one of the premier street legal racing cars in the world. There are dozens of different manufactured versions of the car from stock to drag racing to high cornering models. Many of these...
Additionally tv's made today have a fairly set lifespan sure it's around 100,000 hours but that's still less than old tube tv's. How often do you see gramma's thirty year old tv kickin around working like it's in it's prime.
Lol sooooo true it almost hurts.
How deluded can this guy be to say any call of duty game has "photo realistic graphics"
Not detracting from the game but thats just untruthful.
I think the list he made is excellent without having a best game chosen. That's a totally subjective concept right there. I mean he chose halo reach but even from a totally impartial point of view I can't see it being better than any of the other games on the list.
I'd even say that modern warfare...
It's mostly for people trying to develop a portfolio. Journalism is a very difficult field to get into and this is basically giving people a chance.
You write three articles or make three videos for a large site like ign and it would make you instantly hire-able by many other sites. Also if you did well they would ign would probably offer you a permanent position with compensation.
This is actually going to pave the way for some really neat stuff. I use linux and am going to go buy a kinect for it at some point.
Neat stuff like using your hand as a mouse, or having actual touch like interfaces for the computer. That's only scratching the surface. Open source devs always I repeat ALWAYS make companies like microsoft look like a bunch of fumbling nancys in drag.
Most of what's bees seen so far are a few older games with 3d added.
I'm totally stoked for 3d. The glasses are a pain but glasses free shouldn't be far behind, they already have working autostereoscopic tv's but they don't yet have a great enough viewing angle or a low enough price point to matter.
No but the main thing is that the console makers will be inclined to find exclusive content for their respective consoles.
Exclusives are arguably what generate high console sales. Aside from fan memberships.
I care because I like games and gaming information. Plus enjoy the quality of true exclusive games.
If you don't care because you just like to play games then I don't know what to say.
You should care.
Regardless of which console you own one selling better than the other is a great thing for gamers.
Whichever console is selling best at the moment gets more recognition from third party developers. More exclusive third party games, better quality multiplats, and multiplats that would have been exclusive to the other console.
Alternately for the console thats trailing in sale the pressure goes on for them to make some headway. In the past this ...
Ohhh I want it!
I don't understand why these games are always full of bugs. They've been using the same engine for years, each COD game that gets released should be less buggy. Less to the point of none.
I believe it's a few million more than there are ps3's sold.
It's pretty harsh in some aspects but too many games just hold your hand nowadays.
It's lack of story or antagonism in any way is what makes it so immersing and often times creepy. It didn't have any unnecessary story details to break immersion, no flashbacks or random talking. It's just you, on an island, full of animals and undead.
