I hope this is true. If Nintendo gets third party support, then they have fully reentered the scene. I just hope that they leave the handheld devices as handhelds and have a straightforward console. I would definitely be interested in this product.
I disagree. I loved the pure channeling of rage and violence that was Kratos. I never imagined him in the role of a father figure. I saw no path that led him to this. I only envisioned him destroying as he was destroyed. I am not saying that the narrative is bad but implying this is my dream Kratos is way the hell over the top.

For sure. It won't help them to try and beat MS to the punch just so MS can out deliver Sony. Sony won big in the first round. It is best to wait and just keep one upping as soon as MS gives out solid info. They can keep their fan base if they deliver consistently at least on par with anything MS has to offer. Sony can afford to be 6 months behind MS.

lol, it was a loose metaphor yet fitting all the same. I only disapproved that some people seem to look for battles to fight even when they aren't theirs. It creates unnecessary conflict and censorship.

I think this is why Sony is being obscure with their future console revisions. Sony has the market, so making an offensive (offensive/defensive) move will allow for Microsoft to one-up them. Sony doesn't and shouldn't take that chance. Their base is established. They just need to make timely announcements to downplay anything that MS has to offer.

When Skyrim came out, it was in the age of not needing online service to play games. Now, it is pretty much a must, and those who played single player missed out on this game. This is for the 360 users who wouldn't pay for online service because it was free for Sony. There are a lot of converts!
They might as well. I loved the sci fi weapons, and there wasn't much of a story. The sky is the limit with this stuff. The monsters were awesome. Quake 2's multiplayer was epic. They can just weave whatever beautiful tail they want to into that crazy cool world and it would be something I'd buy. I bought both expansion packs back in the day.

Nintendo didn't grow up with its fan base. They have stuck to their guns with their own games and made their tech incompatible with multiplats.
When the 64 came out, I was a full on PC gamer, because consoles couldn't come close to the tech in my awesome hand me down PC. Last gen was when consoles tried and succeeded in bridging the gap between PC gaming coinciding with great exclusives. Nintendo sold gimmicks last gen, twice.

Super Mario 3 was awesome.
The multiplat is actually a plus in a theoretical world where it could have been optimized specifically for the ps4 without any worries of parity. Witcher 3 is a giant, awesome game in which the narrative does not outweigh the world.

Hmm, people object to a media which can provide better speed and make installation obsolete. A cartridge is like plugging in an SSD drive that has a game on it. Media is not an issue when it comes down to play a game unless it is either slowing or speeding up the process.

Some reason, I just don't imagine gamers as social justice warriors. Technically, games are art, the manifestation of the imaginations of the developers. To label their game is labeling them. This is, after all, something created from a mental image. Witcher doesn't and didn't need approval to be an awesome game despite hurting polygon's feelings for having its own perspective.
Yeah, I guess it just seems that long. Ah, well.... It doesn't make it look any newer lol. I have paid more than its value in games and PS+. Like way more.
