I called it! They said they had no "plans", but now they do. It is simple. But yeah, I had a lot of downvotes on disagreeing with no patch idea, but HAH!
Half way through this gen means their console will be obsolete in this regard in half the time. If they really want to be on board with 3rd party, they need to align their tech timely with their competitors in the 3rd party, or blow them out of the water technologically and make their own gen.
They didn't say they weren't going to make a patch. They said they didn't have any plans for a patch, then. There is plenty of wiggle room in that to please the consumer.
They said they didn't plan on one. If the Pro gets good reception, I would bet that there would definitely be one.
@the desperate banned guy
Scared of what? That whole comment is stupid, and it's not anyone's fault but yours that you are looking at vr anime game ads. There are a lot of awesome games coming out that I am looking forward to.
You just had to go for the PC in a cafeteria lol. LOW BLOW!
Disgusting? That is a bit harsh lol
For humor's sake, it makes me think of you wiping your nose and muttering "I don't like facts."
It more proves how far PC gaming has been ahead.
*sigh* Does it make sense at all that the Xbox 1 is outselling the PS4 because it finally has something to offer that would supplement a PS4 (UHD drive) and people already have PS4's? Oh and all the idiots out there who don't know S stands for slim. MS isn't Apple.
It is advertising that made this work. It still underperforms an OG PS4. It is a marketing trick to act like this is a competitor to the Pro and not the Slim.
Clap for marketin...
@Red
Come on, if you are techy enough to buy a 4k TV, now, I am sure you know how to shop online.
I wouldn't say the Pro and Scorpio are indicative of PC gaming renaissance. In the early 2000's, PC's were so far ahead of consoles that it was a totally different genre. Until last gen, PC graphics were never even close to being matched. Now, gamers have grown up. PCs satiate that desire to have a toy in men, too. Right after they close Excel, lol.
I guess the games being made in x86 architecture has made the porting to PC easier, and since consoles are now...
It is for people who are waiting for the Scorpio.
Two great options for Christmas this year, especially PS4 owners. A PS4 owner might want a X1S just to be rounded and get the PS4 Pro without thinking twice about the Scorpio. Either/or.
For Xbox owners, it would be nice to replace their giant launch consoles and get a UHD drive. Not as much appeal for MS fans this Christmas, but they might want the PS4 slim to round out things out, too.
I respect him for who he is. He is a very accomplished businessman who cares about what the public think about him. This is demonstrated in his participation in entertainment that amount to little more than nickles and dimes to him. He is a proven leader.
Everyone was against illegal immigration which encompasses all of his racist smear. We do need jobs, and I don't see any problem in trying to fix our internal problems. He has been the same since the 80's. Hill...
The voice of the narrator kinda threw me off.
I call BS on this survey. I don't even know anyone who owns an Xbox1. The PS4 is definitely dominating the market, so more people on Xbox is illogical. This is just a feature article. Until there are legitimate numbers from MS and Sony will I ever consider this a legitimate topic.
This isn't from MS. It is from a no name website looking for bait clicks. No thank you.
@Overload Milo Yiannopoulos is the only name you can put behind Nimble America, and he is not Donald Trump. You are wrong. I don't think Milo has any authority over Trump, so you are either making assumptions or believing what you were intended to believe.
Side note: Milo is a self proclaimed homosexual who prefers black men. HMMM.
Support for a game is important as long as consumers and developers find the game relevant. If the developers give up on a game before consumers do then that is a disservice and a disrespect to their patrons. I agree that not all games should get patches especially obvious flops, but any that sold well should be patched.
Who wants to have a bunch of games for their current console that are obsolete technically. Sony has made it as easy as possible to patch games by kee...
Meh, I will admit that games were great in the 90's, and it didn't take a top of the line PC to run games (well decent), BUT games have progressed so much. Now, you get games that combine mouse click adventure games and third person games. Everything is the same as the 90's but it is better. It is not as new. There isn't a ceiling to break through like their used to be from consoles to PC. Graphics are sharper, but if you can see Mario in a few pixels that questions the t...
