I'm a fan of historical fiction, whether it is books or in Assassin's Creed. I have been ProCreed since AC2. I don't care if they flounder to find a concept or fail with some. The idea of seeing part of history unseen but with our imaginations, is what makes me a solid follower of this series. Aside from their over ambitious Unity (our consoles could not handle it), I have found respect for Ubisoft in their way of bringing us to a past that is hard to envision.
I, too, will enjoy the character developments that will happen. However, for them to say "Moments of Epic Scale", that is saying a lot. God of War, in general, is full of moments of epic scale without saying it. They have a high, really high bar when it comes to epic scale. I can't wait to see what they have planned.

If MS prices the "Scorpio" at the same price as the Pro next year, there will be huge repercussions. One, being the lengthening of this gen. If the Pro and Scorpio sell well, you can expect barebones games for the PS4 and XOne while their upgraded counterparts take the stage.

Omikron: Nomad Soul is a game I wish I could play again. It just wasn't that popular then, and probably few remember it. I was totally into the game but I was a teenager and ehhh... I think some girly things caught my attention ;)
A side note is that it already has a David Bowie sound track. At the time, I thought the game was awesome. I think it is the last PC game I bought.

They are trying to sell a game. If it attracts fanboys because of it running at a higher res then I bet they are high fiving each other. No one would even be talking about this game. They made a smart move.
There are ways for PlayStation to rejuvenate some of Sony's other floundering facets... I think that it is a little farther off in the future before it can encompass much more than it already has. I think there might be a time when it is a good idea to substitute the "Play" with other words as to not appear to be about games. PlayStation has been associated with Sony's quality and a generation has grown up with that backing it up.
