It's weird that they've only been testing Halo.....
Anyways its looking really smooth.
Same. It'd also help catch some bugs n what not before release.
This really does look incredible. Can't wait to see the different ways peeps tackle missions and what not in the game, as well as just fux sh!t up.
Also here's the YT link so ya don't have to watch it on ign player:

The way this tech is being used is definitely new. No game is doing what crackdown is. And it's already been said a 2-4mbps connection will be required.
In the demos they've showed at gamescom they already hit x15 the computing power of the x1. Not sure what you're on about.
Single player doesn't use compute, only multiplayer.
Red Faction on Crack O_o
I'm pretty sure you'll be able complete the story in faaaaar less time with the 400 hours being dedicated to crafting, exploration, base building, etc.
If you don't want to spend that much time with the game you prolly don't have to, but I see more content for my money as a positive.
Aww. Among other things (wink wink) I really like the music and atmosphere of the second game.
You pay for challenges or something. You can still play the same solitaire for free. That title is so misleading lol.
Was the same way on windows 8
@Simco876
That's understandable. You sound like you were just reluctant to buy an X1 in your first comment.
"No reason to leave"
Wut? The hell is wrong with gamers nowadays?
I own every console and a pretty good laptop and i'm havin a ball with all these games. There's no reason to leave anything; were all gamers right?
Your comment hurts my gamer soul.
I'd imagine Shenmue and FF7 would be the heroes to a lot of gamers. People have waited a long time for those two. Half life 3 is next on the list.
Also since you didn't own a 360 there's a lot of 360 games you can pick up for cheap and play on X1 without needing to buy a 360.
I'm not sure why the tile mentions direct 12. I thought the fox engine had some type of bottleneck with the X1 esram, which has been fixed, allowing them to achieve better performance and res. If this is the case nothing should've had to be sacrificed to achieve 1080p 60fps with the games.
But I dunno, maybe they did mention dx12 & the sdk somewhere, which im sure has helped anyways.
This info is kinda weird tho.
Even with good games for the audience I don't think it'll help. Looking back to the 360 it had games like Blue Dragon, lost odyssey, and they didn't sell much in Japan.
I always thought that good japanese tailored games would give xbox a boost over there, but I don't really think so now.
I think the low sales are because of the Xbox brand being a US company, especially with them having Playstation (home console). I could be absolutely wrong tho.
Even so...
Dope, but that arena is small as hello O_o
True, but it appears downtime has been happening every couple of days for a while now.
Nice for the X1. Have some great looking games coming.
What is with these comments?
Gat damn. I dunno if I'm ever gonna finish this game lol.
That title tho ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
