Lol Jeez.
N4g needs to add "salty" as an option to the bubble system.
But I'll still gladly bubble you down for trolling, Med.
Well it should. No console, nor high end gaming pc can handle this level of computing themselves.
I was like "wtf is she doing" when I first saw it, but then read the comments and it's actually a nice scene.
Since the parasite or whatever forces her to breathe through her skin, Quiet basically feels like she's on fire all the time, so being in the rain gave her great relief. Along with sharing a playful moment with Big Boss, who's you know, hardened and what not, was nice.
Lol. What an unique way to wear a headset.
The game looks good visually, from what I can tell. And I'm likin that dual sword business.
Yeah the mechanics are the same, but all of the cut scenes and assets were remade.
I've seen a lot of discussion on the matter of it being a remaster/remake. Could you provide a link?
Hehe. I see you're back to one bubble.
Locked at 30, only 720p/1080p options and there isn't even mouse support. Jeez that's sad.
@SquidBuck Lol
@GameNameFame
.....
1. Crackdown takes place in a city, so yeah you can't destroy mountains.
2. Being able to dig is obviously a design choice fitting for an mmo. Come on now.
3. Can we please get a link? I asked for it as well yesterday. And you expect us to take your word for it when (if we explained the same to you about Crackdowns physics) you wouldn't have without a link? Really?
Bo...
"the other is Just pure pr bs sorry but is true"
Wow. That's some crazy denial.
I get it if you were skeptical, but to just flat out call it pure bs? Jeez. I'll pray for you.
Every game doesn't need to use compute and it doesn't fit with every game.
And even so Forza already uses it, Crackdown is going to use it, and Halo will use it for Warzone and Coop. It's being utilized well by their first party.
I wouldn't be surprised if Gears 4 uses it for an online horde mode.
It really could be. Besides Crackdowns destruction and Forza drivatar, Halo is also using it for their AI and physics for coop and warzone: https://www.halowaypoint.co...
"We use cloud compute on dedicated servers for Warzone and Campaign coop because both modes feature vast environments ...
Ts tsk tsk.
@GameNameFame
... You really don't remember? Even Phil said he wasn't sure if they could pull it off.
About EverQuest, correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the destruction (along with the building) was due to the voxel engine. Aren't their physics still being rendered locally?
Also the "field" isn't the focus, the focus, which you stated above are the boundaries. With Crackdown they are going far beyond what any game ...
Like with Backwards compatibility and Crackdowns Cloud computing. Well, I mean technically they are possible because.... they did it, but I mean with all the doubt and uncertainty they faced while tackling those two maaaaaaan.
People thought BC wasn't possible, hell Phil said they didn't know if it was possible. And we all know about the doubt of cloud computing.
Excited to see what else they have in store.
Yeah. What C3 is doing is a huge shift in gameplay. I've been wanting a game like this since I was a kid!
Never played Rares games before now. They're really damn fun. I haven't laugh at a game like I do with Conker in a while.
He showed gameplay onstage later after the conference. And more here with ign.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the X1 hardware tailored to assist cloud compute? Thought I read about it somewhere a while ago. Esram or something.
There are some incredibly sensitive gamers, but I also don't think all the responses were just from them and my opinion is in line with yours.
@MrSwankSinatra
There are some, but Jimmy came off a bit dickish about this (can I say that on N4g? O_o)
Even in his video where Markiplier and MissesMae try to explain to Jimmy about why people watch let's plays Jimmy was making jokes and acting like a prick.
He's a comedian so I guess he...
