This is completely stupid. The thing is this is a program failure rather than a hardware failure which means a simple patch can fix the problem. Not to mention that only a few people are having problems, I for one have not had any problems with 2.4 nor have many other people on this site, and many more. Get a life.
I agree we don't NEED any of this, but it would be nice to have.

October and November are getting too crammed with games. They need to spread some love to other months. August, September, and December could use some of these games.

This will make or break this game. Either it will be a clumsy fumble (which is what I'm expecting), or they'll prove us all wrong and deliver a solid game. Either way I can't see this game doing well.

Killzone 2 looks a lot better than Gears 2. I have the comparison shots of Killzone 2 vs. the render, and Gears vs. Gears 2, and you can easily see Killzone 2 looks better than Gears 2. Gears has great graphics, and looks great in motion, but Killzone 2 is in a class of it's own. The $60 million Sony spent on Killzone didn't go to waste.
It's not very innovative, but it's still a well welcomed improvement. Almost every game that release a sequel is just an improvement over the first it's just that some games improve a lot more than others. And in Gears case there isn't much to improve upon besides game length, graphics, multiplayer which 2/3 we know they did.
Yeah. 7 is good, but there are games that have like 20.
360's don't cost that much if you live in the US. Not to mention if the rumors are true they'll be even cheaper.
I think that's only part of the reason why it got delayed. The main reason I think it got delayed is because there are a lot of sandbox games out this year. GTA 4, Saint's Row 2, The Hulk, Ironman, and more. Pushing back to 2009 was a good way to keep them from getting lost in the Holiday line up.

Get off their backs. As they said they only had 1 year to make COD 3, while IW had 2 yerars to make COD 4. Now that they had 2 years to make this game we can see just how good or bad they really are. Judge them off this game.
