Eh, if people wanna own them, then why not allow them to buy them? Better than paying inflated prices on ebay for them (which Nintendo won't even see a prophit from).
I know right. I hope Sony buys Atlus too (since their also having problems woth their parent company (due to bankruptcy though)). Sony would never make them go mainstream, nor censor Atlus's controversial themes on religion, sex, gender roles, sexual orientation, and the spirituality. Also the violence, language, and controversy.

Ummm i hear ya, but not necessarily, Sony didn't have the experience either when they released the ps1. And yet it laid the smack down on the N64, Sega Saturn, and Dreamcast COMBINED.
So we can't count a newbie out. Sony listened to developers and created tools for them to work with. Google has done the same with their current software development teams. So I don't see why they can't be as considerate in the gaming field.

Japan, and the rest of the entire world. US and UK as the most 360 advertising. Yet 360 had very few exclusives and new IP's, and the least amount of variety in genre's (like JRPG's, RTS, free to play, or anything that isn't a western shooter) in the last few years
It was the deceitful advertising that fooled casuals into thinking that COD and sports games were exclusive or better (read: MS paid for COD to get DLC early) versions.
Trust me, it didn't sell well because it had plenty of good exclusives or new IP's in the last four years (because it definitely didn't). In the rest of the world, 360 isn't selling so well, probably because the rest of the world (outside of the U.S.) is not as easily deceived.

I got a Crystal White Vita, with Assassins Creed, PS All-Stars, free PS Plus, and a memory card all for LESS than I would have paid if I bought a Vita alone at any other time of the year--all this sexiness for only $179!!!
That same Vita would have cost me damn near $250, not even including the fre...

Customers care. And we're the one's who pay these developers, so we run the show. If they wanna go completely digital, then they better lower the price of games, to make up for the amount of money THEY are saving by not paying off retailers.
People pay, and you STILL get ad's. So why isn't Xbox Live Silver version free? If MS gets money from Ad's, then some of it should be used to at least let people get MP for free (or at the very least--let u use the netflix and hulu accounts without an additional paywall). And Gold just be used to eliminate ad's and get extra features like Xbox TV and all that other crap that nobody really wants.

The difficulty is reminiscent of the NES era style of difficult games. Don't like it, then peace out. The rest of us are more than happy to have a game that requires skill, as opposed to all of this hand-holding we get today.
Being able to customize my character in Metal gear Online (from the skin, hair, facial hair, clothes, clothing color, voice, etc) really made it feel like my character was unique.

I agree, Atlus is definitely helping to keep the genre alive (also Level-5, Monolith, etc) but with Atlus's parent company being in trouble, I'm a little bit afraid.
