Dude u have the facts to back that up? Because I can prove that almost EVERY one of the games I mentioned were top sellers of their time in Japan (and/or were well received and praised).
First of all, the games I mentioned were console games mostly. The games on portables (which Japan prefers) are actual even harder.
Here are sales figures for these games (all of these games were the top sellers in their first months in Japan):
-Demon's S...
@AceBlazer13:
No. Open-world is a sub-genre (although it's a huge, game-changing one).
It's a sub-genre because we can apply just about any other main genre into it.
We can make FPS open-world games (Far Cry 3 for example), sandbox open-world (sandbox meaning you can do anything u want), Stealth open-world (MGS 5 & Thief), Open world Racer (Need for Speed), Open world turn-based JRPG (SaGa Frontier was one of the first to do it) e...
I just hope they don't screw up the level editor like in FC3. What is the point of making your own levels if you can't play them in a playlist with other players in random online matches? It rendered all of your hard work useless.
I respect you Mr. Miyamoto, as one of my favorite game designers right now, and as the best to ever do it.
BUT, whenever I need a really challenging, deep YET fair game, I often turn to Japanese-made games.
Games like:
-Dark Souls
-Demon's Souls
-Monster Hunter
-Catherine
-Metal Gear Online
-Soul Sacrifice
-God's Eater
-Valkyria Chronicles series
-Mega Man 9 & 10
-Hard...
I wanna see Capcom (Marvel vs Capcom 3 style) vs Aksys (Guilty Gear/Blaz Blu)
Of course, they'll have to blend/edit the varying gameplay mechanics to make it function in a balanced way, though.
Lololol. Funny bubble 4 u man!
The image is an insult to potatoes everywhere.
His articles number is 1309976. Yours is 1310142.
So HIS article preceded your own. You have the duplicate, not him.
You still have time to delete yours.

@itspeaks:
Real estate investment is not very hands-on though. Seems a little boring, no? If however, the crime statistics of a certain neighborhood effected the real-estate prices, THEN it would be more interactive, since we can effect those statistics via committing crimes (or squash the crime of others) in that particular neighborhood in which we want to buy the real estate.
But simply just investing virtual money on a virtual house that I likely won't...
Lol at the "+TIP".
I hope it's not the case though. Because if they disrespect Mega Man even on his own anniversary, then we all know that Capcom will NEVER show Mega Man any respect again after that.
Man I still gotta hope, though. I mean, Capcom is making huge restructurings, admitting to mistakes, tactfully put Mega Man in Smash Bros U, getting rid of crappy outsourced western studios, etc...
And even though none of the stuff I mentioned means that Legends 3 is coming out, it gives me a glimmer of hope that MAYBE Capcom is putting away their pride and checking their own ego's. Which I think is the first step to them showing some love to the little blue guy who put t...
Excellent list. I totally forgot to add Silent Hill.
Remember this very awesome song?

I'm hoping the GTA Online portion really gives us some things to do with all the money earned from Heists.
When the trailer said we could spend the money on tatoos, clothes, and cars--I though to myself: "we can already do that in San Andreas (ps2), and we still ad too much money lying around".
I'm hoping the online could offer some kind of persistent economy where we have an incentive to keep earning more money (after completing the main mi...
Yes, Atlus's amazing composer (shoji meguro) has made the soundtracks for many of their best games, such as Catherine, Persona series, SMT series, Trauma Center, etc.
Truly a very gifted composer. He can go from classical, to hip hop, to pop, to 80's synths, to rock all in one song. Truly a brilliant composer and talented artist.
If u like him, check out his influences "T-Square" and "Casiopea" bands from Japan (can find on youtube...
Hamouzu made the music for FF 13. He is a genius! He is the japanese-German composer who made the soundtrack for SaGa Frontier 2. It was so well received, that he quickly climbed the ranks as Squares top composer. The man mixes African Percussion with Salsa, classical piano music, house music, and so much more.
You should check out his album on youtube, called "Vielen Dank by Masashi Hamouzu"
Maiden Astraea blows my mind!

@ Abash and Blastois: If u guys like that Killzone 3 song so much , u should check out the OST for "Rule of Rose". It has some awesome and "sad" violin music.
Dude I forgot about Ace Combat series! Hell yeah!
Oh yeah, and don't forget the early Ridge Racer games by Namco too.
Lol yeah one of the best soundtracks EVER, but that game is one of the worst, buggiest retail releases ever made. Absolute trash game.
Not trying to diss PC's, but I wonder what percentage of these so-called "gamers" on PC are playing ACTUAL HARDCORE games. I mean, not including facebook, google games, free-to-play browser games.
I want to know what percent are playing hardcore games. Or even disc games (not to exclude digital though), steam, have real gaming rigs, etc.
Let's not inflate numbers here. I would like a closer approximation that doesn't take into account th...
