Okay well I don't know what else to say. I mean, i'm not fully swayed by your response, and that's okay, because we are all entitled to our own opinions. I'm all pooped out from arguing. And arguing isn't gonna change anything (I think we both know that from the past). Frankly, I'm not at all surprised by your response, So I'll just choose to respect your perspective on it. Being a long time ATLUS fan, I still feel the way that I do, so arguing isn't going to c...

Parents need to read the warning on the box, and take responsibility for when they buy inappropriate games for their kids.

Good blog. But when u say "Atlus already has made several Nintendo exclusive games (such as Trauma Center and several Shin Megami Tensei games), none of which have been censored or ignored by Nintendo.", we can't know that they wouldn't ever censor it for sure because it isn't a first party company yet. But of course, that isn't a good enough arguement to accuse Nintendo either. That's why I propose a different idea--the idea that doesn't have to accuse Ninte...

Well then i'll remember to go back on PSN and give it 4 stars (or is it 5 stars for top score?). Whatever. The top score it is!

Because ALL they did was bite off of other games. Most reviews said the same thing. They were astonished by the fact that they added NOTHING unique. There's a difference between inspiration, and lack of it. And they were not inspired, they just bit off several games entirely. Anyway, I don't have time to argue with you. I just can't manage to care enough about this topic, lol.

It was my opinion, and if u don't agree, then God bless u, anyway.

I know some might disagree with me, but I'm glad this is their last one. I think they did a lot to revitalize the series, but all they did was bite off of Shadow of the Collosus (or however that's spelled), God of War and a couple other games. At least maybe now it can go back to the Japanese studios at Konami, and they can learn from what Cox and his team in Europe added. I want another SOTN type of game, but in 3D.

Arc Systems? That's a great idea. But do they have the money? I also would like (for 3rd parties) Namco or maybe even Bethesda Japan (they are working on The Evil Within).

I dunno. But if it's a first party, I believe that only SONY would let ATLUS do whatever they want. No worries about censoring them, or forcing them to go mainstream. SONY would be fine with them only being able to move a mere 500-700k units.

@MegaLagann:

I respect your POV, but I doubt the mature themse of SMT will carry ob to a Fire Emblem game. Just because it's a cross over doesn't make it a "take-over" for SMT. If anything, SMT will have to simmer down for a Fire Emblem audience. I doubt you'll see a full SMT experience in Fire Emblem, it just wouldn't really be appropriate.

And I'm saying this from the perspective of a huge Fire Emblem fan. Check my comment hist...

You'll get more disagrees than agrees even though you speak from a true Atlus fan's perspective. I can tell by your Avatar that u are a fan. But this article is under a "nintendo" tag, so u know all of the nintendo fans will see it first and swarm on it and down vote what u say.

Some of them may not have ever played an SMT game before. They just want Nintendo to "win", instead of caring about the integrity of ATLUS. More than Nintendo or Sony, thi...

I have God Eater 1 and Monster Hunter for PSP/Vita.

And to be honest, I like them both. The battling is kinda for different tastes. The fighting in God Eater is blazing fast. The battling in Monster Hunter is slow and deliberate (and more emphasis on actual "hunting"). So just because one sells more doesn't mean people moved from one to another. They can find enough variety in both to like both.

But yeah, it's still good news for the Vita an...

Also, disagree if you like. But at least state why. I provided MY argument, but if you don't have your own--then your disagrees are probably due to fanboyisms. I just want ATLUS to preserve their style and not be compromised by censorship. I'll be owning a Wii U myself this Christmas, so trust me when I say I am not anti-Nintendo. I'm just anti Atlus-censorship.

Edit: Also here is one (of many out there) articles on the censorhip from Nintendo.

Article:

"Sony is the biggest threat; if they decide they're interested, they can certainly outbid Nintendo"

Well thats what i'm hoping for. No offence to Nintendo fans, but I don't see Ninte.do supporting future products like Catherine and other things the SMT games are known for: Such as the demon named "Mara" who is in every SmT game (who's name literally means penis and is a penis monster). And the other amount of thing...

Dude MGO was the greatest online game of all time. Anyone who played it and never gave up on it's steep learning curve would know that. We mgo fans have to unite to let Kojima know our concerns about mgo3 being westernized.

I know. I said that maybe another (I jokingly gave Nintendo as an example) company can find a way to milk some cash out of MS like Sony does with the BluRays. Although I couldn't think of a single link/connection between MS and Nintendo, so I took a stab in the dark and said maybe they could look into any possible patent infringements (since some idea's might overlap considering they are both in the games and console manufacturing business).

But still just a joke. I k...

I like playing a good game even more than looking at a pretty picture.

Nothing looks more realistic than a live action movie, right? But movies make for crappy games (seeing as their not interactive).

I'd take a great game that looked like it was on the Sega Master System, before I take a pretty game that is trash.

Example: Phantasy Star 1 > Final Fantasy 13
