There's already a game called Star Wars: Bounty Hunter where you play as Jango Fett. I had it on the GameCube years ago.
If Destiny is an MMO, then it's the worst MMO I've ever played. I don't know if you've played other MMOs, but they generally have a shit ton of content even when first released. Future DLC expansions are absolutely no excuse to not have a complete story at launch. If they charge a full $60, then they need to release a full game.
Gotta disagree and I've been playing Halo for years.
There are some similarities between Bungie's Halo and Destiny (art style, vehicles, some animations, etc.), but the actual gameplay is very different.
Destiny's ADS, unlimited sprint, slower base movement speed, and lower normal jump height are just a few mechanics that completely change how the game plays compared to Halo.
In Halo, the gameplay was designed to allow players to ...
@voltron
"Of course Halo does because anyone who was anyone at Bungie left a long time ago and went to 343i to work on Halo 4.. Essentially this Bungie is a new studio.. "
That's not true at all. The number of Bungie employees who went to 343 is so small you could count them all on one hand. Important people like Joe Staten, Pete Parsons, Jason Jones, and even Marty O'Donnell all stayed with Bungie during Destiny's development. These are...
@sinspirit
I'm afraid you're wrong. Halo was originally going to be an RTS when it was first showed in 1999. Bungie even quoted that Halo was "basically Myth in a sci-fi universe." Then in 2000 it was changed to a third person shooter. After Microsoft bought Bungie and Halo starting being developed exclusively on the Xbox, Bungie rewrote their game engine and changed the game again to an FPS which is what we have now.
@OP-Tigrex
Just need to make a minor correction. Halo: MCC comes out November 11, not in December.
You don't have ADS in an arena shooter like Halo because it forces you to slow down in order to aim. Halo is very movement based. You need to keep moving to stay alive. Things like strafing and Gandhi hopping would be basically impossible with ADS. It's not in Halo because it's simply not supposed to be.
Now, what you said about feeling like the character doesn't know how to aim or shoot... think about it like this:
Spartans are highly enhance...
I don't think he means we can't play the MP in the collection. I think he's talking about how you can't play Halo CE or Halo 2 MP right now, since CE never had it and H2 servers were shut down, and that for that reason the collection is necessary.
Not sure why LAWSON has any disagrees. It is a fact that Halo 4 is not an arena shooter, and that has nothing to do with whether or not the guns are real.
Some important characteristics of arena shooters include equal/balanced starts for all players, weapons and power ups placed on the map, no starting advantages for anyone in the form of perks, etc. Halo 4 can't be defined as an arena shooter because it has things like custom loadouts, perks, and personal ordnance. Wheth...
Did you even read the article, guy?
"Xbox One continues to lead in software sales with the most cumulative units sold for any eighth generation home console platform life-to-date."
... Xbox One did sell more software. Just pointing out your error.
Video worked for me. It's legit.
6 players is for the raids, which is something completely different. They haven't given us any info on the competitive multiplayer yet, but did say today that competitive multiplayer will be featured at E3.
This is why our government is able to get away with this kind of stuff. People think they have nothing to hide. But they'll always be able to find something.
The truth is there are so many ridiculous laws out there people don't know about that there's a pretty good chance you are breaking one of them. I think on average a person commits 3 crimes per day or something like that, and doesn't even know.
@jmc8888
Kinect is necessary for motion and voice controls. Not everyone wants/needs that but clearly there are people who do. Besides, one could easily argue that phones are unnecessary as well. Do you really need a smart phone to call people? No.
And the fact that your phone is always with you makes it even worse than a stationary camera. With a cell phone, the NSA can see exactly where you are any time of day, they know exactly who you are talking to and what you a...
PS3 and Xbox 360 total sales are practically the same. The PS3 is only slightly ahead. Just because 360 barely got beat doesn't mean it was a failure, especially when you compare it with the original Xbox sales. 25 million to 80 million... I'd call that momentum.
@Heisenburger
It's really not that silly. Most Halo fans have been begging for a Halo 2 Anniversary edition this year. Too soon for Halo 5.
No, 343 is still referring to it as Halo Xbox One. Just go check halowaypoint. We all know it's going to be called Halo 5 most likely but 343 have not confirmed the title yet.
iGAM3R-VIII, the reason PS4 had double the weekly sales as the Xbox that week is probably because that is the week they launched in Europe. Right now there's really no way of knowing how the difference between them might have changed since then.
You are deceived. You think terrorists are out there discussing their evil plans in some Xbox Live party chat? It doesn't matter what anyone thinks of them, what they are doing is unconstitutional. They don't care about protecting the country, they only care about protecting themselves.
60 percent? Yeah that's not true at all. Only a handful of Bungie employees left to form 343. Frank O'Connor, Vic DeLeon, and Chad Armstrong. Most of the important people involved with Halo stayed with Bungie... Jason Jones, Pete Parsons, Joe Staten (back to Microsoft now), Marty O'Donnell (fired unfortunately), and most of the developers. Very few 343 employees were ever Bungie employees.
