@spoonard
I thought those were the people who watched boob streamers though...
They do impact competitive aspects in Halo 5 though. There are REQs for power weapons and vehicles that absolutely give an advantage to players who have them over players who don't. Therefore the guy who drops hundreds of dollars on req packs will have a lot more of those power weapons and vehicles at their disposal than regular Joe who doesn't buy them with real money. Warzone is pay to win
I played the game for a few hours at a friend's house the other day, because I'm not going to buy it, and I honestly thought it was boring and soulless. Just my opinion based on my first impressions, it didn't seem great to me and I don't really feel like I'm missing out on anything for not buying it.
Yeah but if there's no single player campaign they probably don't have to spend as much money on voice actors recording a bunch of lines or writers to actually write the story and things like that. So certain costs wouldn't apply for multiplayer only, maybe not enough to drop the price to $30 but still...
No game except Halo. Bastards at 343 can't help but change everything for the sake of change, driving fans away.
I don't think franchises like Call of Duty, Halo, etc with an established formula need to make drastic changes. People became fans of those games because of the way they play, so it makes sense to keep the same formula in those games. Just make improvements to the overall experience and add new content. Don't change things for no reason. Save that for...
Wow that's amazing
I mean you could just walk into a kitchen and tell if the food is going to suck. Is it all frozen and weeks old? Is the kitchen filthy? Are they microwaving everything? Do they even use any seasonings? A $40 steak better be a fresh cut, fat trimmed, seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Same concept can apply to video games.
@Ittoittosai
But then those flat earthers would just say "you can't build your house on the edge because it's surrounded by a giant ice wall all the way around that's guarded by all the militaries in the world. Even if you could get to the edge, the impenetrable dome that covers the planet would prevent you from having a room that extends beyond it."
They actually believe that.
I think opinionated works for EA guys. Poor little fella got his feelings hurt
343 did recently say MCC is getting a patch that will fix the matchmaking issues and add some improved visuals for Xbox One X. I think it's too soon for a remastered Halo 5 though.
Having to replace 3 consoles sounds pretty unlucky to me as I have never had to replace any
@Cmv38
I think the main reason the original Xbox One was $100 more expensive with less power was the inclusion of the Kinect in the beginning. Subtract Kinect and that $100 can go towards more power.
No seriously, the campaign is garbage. Brian Reed is a terrible writer. Halo 5's campaign takes about 4 hours to beat, way too many characters with not enough time spent developing a single one of them so it's hard to care about them at all. Every Halo game, even 4, I could replay campaign over and over. Halo 5 I feel like I had to force myself to complete it and I will never play the campaign again. It's bad.
I think the technology of Kinect is cool but not so much for gaming. Maybe robots or something
I mean it seemed pretty obvious to me that oSHINSAo was joking... I laughed. idk I think you'd have to be pretty dense to take that comment seriously.
Hopefully it does kill these corporations. I can't wait for the day I get on N4G and see "Activision shuts down" or "EA evaporates into alternate dimension of eternal suffering" headlines.
I once thought as you do until I realized digital is way more convenient. Much easier to switch between games, no problem if the disc is damaged or lost (which I admit is rarely an issue but still), more portable, pre downloading...
I do still prefer physical copies of my favorite games, but anything else is digital for me usually because I'll get them on sale for big discounts. Physical, digital, both are nice.
There are many words in which EA can be found, disease as you said, and also weak, horreable, garbeage, eavil, pure shieat, sateanic, etc...
@G-haul I'm pretty sure it's referring to the Halo 3 ODST expansion, so it would mean that Microsoft is working on a DLC/expansion that will be Halo 5's equivalent to ODST... so ODLC... or something
Wow dude that's pretty lame
