My friend and I beat some of the harder parts in Gears of War with chainsaw rushing. That was really fun so I hope the knife rushing in KZ2 is also.
I think Killzone 2 may very well outperform MGS4. KZ2 is more accessible to a broader range of gamers since it's an FPS. Anyone can just pick it up and play.

Maybe people with less than X amount of bubbles should be forced into the Open Zone. I mean, they have few bubbles for a reason... Just a thought.

I've played with the XMB on... it freezes for like 20 seconds and then everything is fine. I've never had to restart the game.
We also need to factor in the fact that the global economy is not doing very well. People do not have extra cash to spend on games, especially since there are so many coming out recently.

Yeah... it's true that they can probably design a chair and a t-shirt in mere hours, but you're neglecting the amount of money it took to invent the rest of the game, which is the entire game.
