Are you seriously comparing PS Now to Music Unlimited? For starters, the majority of revenue for musicians don't come from physical or digital copy sales, while a game publisher's revenue does. So it will cost a lot more to run a game streaming service than a music streaming one.
So unless in the future people don't buy physical copies of games anymore or there is a way to pirate games as easily as music, PS Now won't remove the ne...
And for those who are referencing Sony's acquisitions to show that Sony can afford it, notice that acquisitions and cost of running a business are very different; one is an one-time cost and one is an on-going cost.
Sony may be able to afford paying millions of dollars one time to acquire a piece of land, but that doesn't mean they can afford millions of dollars in publisher loyalties per year especially if PS Now can't attract a substantial amount of loyal users....
PS Plus only allows downloads of certain games for a limited period of time, while PS Now needs to have much more content of a much greater variety available at all time. So basically the cost for running PS Now will be a lot more than the one for PS Plus if it wants to attract a lot of users. And the bad sign is that even PS Plus wasn't able to do that until Sony made it mandatory for PS4 online play.
Also, when he said "Sony’s not big enough to afford to pay that k...
Just like I thought, they didn't have enough resources to make a multiplayer on par with the campaign, so they decided not to do it at all. Credit to them for making this admirable decision; the same could not be said for games with multiplayer that has quality nowhere near that of its sp.
On the other hand, Sony may have tons of faith in this title but apparently not enough to provide them enough resources to make both awesome campaign and multiplayer. This may seem like...
Few games actually "need" multiplayer, but the more appropriate questions should be if the multiplayer will fit the game or the game can benefit from multiplayer fun wise and sales wise.
So back to the topic, to be honest, I am disappointed this game won't have a multiplayer mode because I can't imagine multiplayer not fitting in a TPS and The Order seems like the kind of game that could be really fun and unique in the form of a multiplayer mode.

Maybe he did but the article only quoted the parts that would make Sony fanboys go all crazy and insult the man like he is the biggest idiot in the world, which is what usually happens with Pachter when there is an article about what he says.
What's even more pathetic is that people assume from what the article has quoted that that's everything Pachter has said in reference to that which couldn't be more wrong. What's funny is that people assume that's the...
!!!Spoiler alert!!!
The fact that Joel throughout the whole story doesn't give a sh!t about saving the world is quite obvious even if one pays minimal attention to the story. Hence, the ending is the most logical and realistic one as the story goes down. To do otherwise would actually make the whole experience extremely incoherent and inconsistent. I'm surprised that the author considers this watered down and not meaningful; maybe she is just, I don't know, stupid...
Maybe the fact that the author is a female partially explains why she naively expected a fairy tale ending to be the proper one for The Last of Us while she naively deemed the realistic and logical ending to be the watered down one.
If you can actually ruin an industry by having open endings, by extension, many novels, movies, TV episodes and drama plays are also ruining their respective industries? Because all of their creators do those endings not for art, but for greed?
"We had some forecast at that time from where we thought both Xbox and PlayStation would be and that's what we based our decision on. I think we're still feeling very comfortable with that"
EA = Epic fail and delusional?
I agree. I feel that Microsoft only bought Gears of War because they don't have many first party franchises to work with in the first place and losing a big one like Gears will be costly for them.
However, when even Epic doesn't want to touch Gears anymore, I feel that it may be a better decision to just let the franchise go and go create some new IPs.
I bet deep down Sony regrets ever developing and releasing Vita. The system is destined to die and fail as soon as its release because it has absolutely no appeal to anyone other than the most hardcore Sony supporters such as those who comment on every Sony article on N4G and that's simply not enough for it to survive.
I bet you think your comment is a pretty smart response, but nor did Respawn imply that the bots being the lower class had anything to do with its literal intelligence. However, they did imply that the bots being the lower class than pilots simply means that they can't operate titan, don't have anti-titan weapons and don't have jet-packs that allow them to, for example, jump between buildings.
The above-mentioned facts alone explain the fact that they are not ther...
IMO,the titan gameplay looks really fun and fresh, but the soldier gameplay, tbh, feels kinda underwhelming and repetitive especially because of its comparison with being a titan. Another reason why being a solder is kinda boring is that most of the time it seems that you are just killing AIs.
The fact that there are so many bots allows real players to basically camp on the top of a building to easily rack up kills until he gets enough to summon a titan. And at the end of th...
If you really thought an actual Tomb Raider would have much better sales, then you were even more foolish than Square Enix to expect 5-6 million sales within four weeks of release.
I don't even need to explain why. Just answer this question: was there any game of that nature in the last 5 years that was an apparent commercial success? No, and it is not an accident.
In my opinion, this is the only game for which I would say that whoever doesn't appreciate what it does or recognize it as one of the best games last generation regardless of whether they like it or not lacks the basic intellectual abilities and only play video games so that, for example, they could shoot some stuff and see it die.
There is no need to break any new ground in the gameplay department when, in my opinion, most people are interested in this "game" for its story, decision-making feature and characters. With that said, as long as this game succeeds in those areas, people will keep supporting the series.
Plus, if you are looking for more gameplay, there are plenty of games out there that could satisfy you, like The Last of Us.
Yup, sounds like the kind of attitude you would get from Microsoft in general
Here's something to remind you:

It's nice to hear it from a third party.
@dantesparda What's your point? Nowhere did I mention anything about MS's stocks; I didn't even mention anything about MS. And I have nothing to do with Sony stocks being downgraded to junk status. I am just saying that having a business, possbily PS Now, that's losing tons of money will be especially detrimental to a company, like Sony, whose stock status is junk.
@BitbyDeath But the problem is general consumers aren't as forgiving as PS fans. If PS Now d...
