And after playing the beta, I am even more certain that it's a COD clone, a pretty bad one.
Have you watched some of the SP and MP footages of MoH? The game plays exactly like COD.
Gotta love the hypocrisy here from all these COD haters.
"Since I hate Cod, I guess I'll pick up a COD clone instead."
And I guess most of them will go out and buy Black ops eventually.
So I guess I'll go with the real COD.
so u decide to get a Call of Duty clone?
If you are really tired of Call of Duty, you should get games such as GT5, Force Unleashed 2 or Fable 3 instead of a game that is designed to be played like COD in order to appeal to COD fans.
Nothing you can notice while your playing. Seriously, what changes are you expecting from patches anyway?
I have been in several betas such as MAG, Uncharted 2, Bad Company, Bad Company 2 and Killzone 2, and played the retail versions of those games for a good amount of time.
In my experience, although those devs keep saying that the betas are not good representation of the final games, and that the final products would be improved on so many levels, none of those I mentioned have noticeable, obvious or significant differences between the beta version and the final version.
not even close.
Kudos to them.
Well, this is what you get when you produce crappy games such as Lost Planet 2 or Dark Void. Hope Dead Rising 2 delivers or else it will be another hit to Capcom's reputation.
I think it has something to do with the value a game has to offer. Even PS3 fanboys can't deny the fact that Halo: Reach offers way more value and content than Uncharted 2 or God of War 3 does. It's just that obvious.
I thought it was a 10 originally, but 9 is still a good score.
Good to see that Ign is finally not giving Halo Reach's graphics a 9.5+ cause I really don't understand how that's justified given that there are way more better looking games on the market.
its 9.5
I plan on getting Move when Dead Space 2 comes out or when Socom 4 comes out. Good thing that many real hardcore games support Move, or else it won't interest me at all.
A couple thousands still do.
I'll love to see how many idiots there are in the gaming whorld. I for one won't pay for the subscription. Seeing how much money these big game companies are making, I dont think they are in such a hurry to make online multiplayer subcription-based.
you've underestimated the stupidity of COD fanboys. I think if they do start charging monthly fees for COD online, you'll be surprised by how many gamers are willing to pay for this crap. Those gamers will not switch to another shooter because if they do, they will no longer feel like pros without all those noob-friendly features in COD games.
GG isn't making this game for you. Their making it for profit, and in order to achieve more profit, they have to have their game appeal to more gamers. Besides, there are tons of stuff, such as no aim assist or weapon recoil, GG can do to make KZ3 require skills. Hacing difficult controls is just a silly way to make a game take more skills to play.
I think its a good thing. Wouldn't it be great that more gamers get into Killzone 3? Besides, having different controls is no way to make a game "special". It just makes it awkward, turning FPS fans off from the game. Its wise of GG to make the controls more normal. I believe there'll still be an option for the "weighty" controls to shut somebody up,but I doubt anyone will use it,especially in multiplayer.
It is indeed an issue that's only related to the PS3 version of RDR. I used to have this problem until I got Nat type 2 instead of type 3 on my PS3. There is a thread related to this issue on the PS3 section of the RDR forum. The multiplayer is very fun if you play hardcore game modes. It's just this issue that's ruining the multiplayer for you.
Does Bad company 2 have Killstreaks? Does BC2 have weapons with no recoil at all? Does MoH have destructible environments, vehicles and classes? And you already said that MoH has small maps and is more fast-paced.
So you tell me. Does MoH play more like BC2? Or COD?
