Agreed. While GTA V had great production values, the missions were heavily scripted. I think they should explore a more sandboxy approach during missions, letting players take the initiative their way, rather than Rockstar's way.
It's easily Rockstar's best game. It may not be as fun or technically ambitious as GTA V, but it's certainly a masterpiece.
Far Cry 3 and 4?
Any horse from Red Dead would smoke both of them... what a stupid article though, lol.
I have tried mods before for GTA, they're all just so half-assed and unpolished. There's a few good ones though, like the Police Revision Mod and real-life car models.
Everything else is just shits and giggles.
So far, for me:
1. The Witcher 3
2. Metal Gear V
3. ???????????
But I can see Fallout 4 taking the crown from one of those.
Indeed.
1. except the PC version is infested with hackers and performance hits
2. the console playerbase altogether is much greater than the PC version
3. mods for a two year old game is well... yeah, not very exciting.
I played the shit out of this game on both console and PC. The game's two years old, Rockstar needs announce their next game already and move on from GTA.
Too bad Driveclub is naked of content and is 30fps. Sorry – had to be the one.
It's not the location that's the problem, it's the lack of diverse interaction and content. All the bases and outposts reset when you make trips between Mother Base and the open-world, so you're constantly infiltrating the same areas over and over again.
Yes, I get that Afghanistan is supposed to be a barren, desolate landscape, but look at Red Dead Redemption: that game took place in an empty desert as well, but it had plenty of diverse content.
This game is so dead.
This game definitely isn't a 10/10 in my opinion. It has a terribly bland open world, and repetitive missions that you're forced to play through until a critical moment in the story occurs.
It's a good game, definitely the best action stealth game out there, but it's pretty damn overrated.
Wow, so a 9/10 is a troll score? Never knew...
"I mean we are getting a full on game around Sam, I want to see old characters get their time to shine as playable characters"
Um, those old characters had three games to shine in. Sam is an entirely new character that will be introduced in U4, so it would only make sense if we see more of him.
The PS4's CPU sucks.
Except Forza plays much better.
Driveclub is just a pretentious tech demo disguised as a half-assed racing sim.
GTA V is still the highest rated game on PS4.

It's perfectly fine to give up on a two year old game. Only natural we move on.
That's because everyone on N4G is a biased console fanboy and gets butthurt whenever someone mentions PC.
It was obviously a PR move.
