Interesting read. I also heard that Uncharted 4 will feature TLOU's 360° camera rotation system, and I thought that was a great gameplay mechanic in TLOU.
Whenever there's a post on N4G regarding Naughty Dog and their upcoming Uncharted 4, you always hear words like "technical wizardry" or something. Frankly, I think it's a bit pretentious and subjective.
Now, don't get me wrong, the things they're doing are impressive, everything from the littlest details like tangible chest hair; however, you don't hear people praising other developers who are doing things just as impressive, if not, more impress...
Exactly. I mean, Crytek may not be your favorite developer, but their technical prowess is unparralled.
However, Naughty Dog is still amazing at the technical feat. Just look at the Uncharted games and TLOU on PS3, arguably the best looking games graphically on last-gen systems.
Very true. Sadly, all those disagrees are coming from the Sony fanboys that lurk around N4G. GTA 5 shatters any Naughty Dog game, including TLOU Remastered, at the technical level.
I guarantee you if Rockstar was a first party studio under Sony, like Naughty Dog, people here would praise them far more. It's no doubt that Rockstar is superior to Naughty Dog on the technical level, and I'm more than happy to debate why.
"Technically they are the best devs in the industry right now." How can you say that, Uncharted 4 isn't even out yet. Surely you're not referring to The Last of Us, because at this point, many PS4 games surpassed it at the technical level.
I love Naughty Dog, they're one of my favorite developers, but I feel like a lot of users on N4G sorta have a bias towards them.

To be honest, these kind of mods are just for sh*ts and giggles - nothing cool or in depth.
Doesn't matter how much mods you use to pretty up Skyrim, the gameplay is still terribly clunky. I seriously don't know how people aren't bored of Skyrim yet after three years.

No, they obviously didn't thanks to the parity. The E3 reveal from 2013 could have been the PC build for all we know.
