Not only that, but many gamers feel that remasters compromise/postpone development time and resources for other games, even if a different studio is working on it.
Personally, I love remasters. I have no problem buying and replaying through some of my favorite games in higher fidelity and better performance.
Driveclub is probably the most beautiful racer out there, but to me it's all eye candy. Now, I'm a sucker for in depth car customization, something that DC lacked, so that's a big reason why I prefer Forza. Also, Driveclub's driving mechanics were a bit... floaty, I should say. It didn't feel like a proper racing simulator.
Implying that graphics will make the game automatically better than Forza.
You missed out on a hell of a game then, bud!
Visceral SJW's at it again.
God, I love Fallout's lore. So much backstory.
Shhhhh, don't kill our hype.
Which is funny because he acknowledges the technical issues and bugs on the PC version, but decides to still give it a 10 wheras console version gets a 9. Must be the 60fps that justifies the perfect score for him, because gameplay/content wise (things he praised the whole time) both versions are identical.
(in context of my other comment below)
The jump from GTA V PS3 to PS4 is amazing, you should really look at the comparisons or see for yourself in person if you can. It's a lot more "jaw dropping" than TLOU's remaster.
Very good points you made, but The Witcher games were always character driven, entailing a good narrative, something Bethesda games always lacked.
Also, Geralt is sorta an aggregation of some of those professions. And I don't really know what you mean by Acrobat, cuz Geralt can totally parkour through the Novigrad rooftops! lol
Personally, I would choose an in-depth preset character over a created one, but I have no problem playing as a mute in Elder Scro...
"ND is the best dev in the industry undisputed,"
Wow, I think that's a little bias, don't you think? Clearly an opinion, and a disputable one at that, just as any opinion is. But hey, that opinion of yours translates into a fact here at N4G, a Sony haven for fanboys. Why else does every quarter report and Microsoft related article bash on the Xbox One?
"The Last of Us far and away exceeds anything we last last gen.."
Lmao the Naughty Dog fanboys here are insane.
I am calm lol, why were you under the impression that I wasn't "relaxed"? I was just wondering what made you think the author never played a Fallout game before.
I personally couldn't bring myself to finish Fallout 3, but I didn't play it in its prime, and I was a bit spoiled after playing Skyrim, which I felt was the more polished game.
Nevertheless, I am super hyped for Fallout 4; I like how they made the lighting more vibrant and alive.
Who are you to say whether or not the author of the article played a Fallout game before?
I agree, Skyrim's production value is pathetic compared to TW3. You'd think a AAA studio could hire more than - I don't know - 12 voice actors. I hope Bethesda worked on a new engine for Fallout 4 after all these years.
Meh, I could care less for Ubisoft at this point. Their track record has been piss poor lately and unless The Division turns out to be good by a miracle, I don't have faith in them anymore.
Another perfect score for TW3, well deserved!
I wouldn't consider it a clever ploy to buy the game. I've never played the first two games and I feel right at home with the characters thanks to the in-game glossary and tons of background information within the dialogue.
But I totally understand why you want to keep up with the story from start to finish. Anyway, once you get around to TW3, you're in for a treat. It's truly one of the best RPG's and open world games of all time.
In a year we won't be hooked on The Witcher anymore.
